  • I stayed for four months and loved it! The apartment is perfect for one person or a couple, very light with wonderful views, in a fantastic location and quiet (with the exception of some nights when the festivities on the street are audible). One must be fully aware of the 73 steps (four high stories) leading up to the apartment, which I appreciated as a counterbalance to Rome's wonderful food. Renato, the owner, was very attentive (replied to emails within minutes), very helpful and speaks perfect English. I would come back in a heartbeat and hope to do so in the future.

  • This is a truly wonderful place. Can't complain about anything! The weather was super nice for most of November and the terrace was just magic. The bathroom feels spacious as well as the duplex living space. The street this apartment is on is probably the most happening street, but no noise in the house at all. It feels like a second home in Rome and would love to come back.

  • We had a wonderful stay in trastevere that was unexpectedly extended by three nights due to Hurricane Sandy. Renato, who manages the flat, kindly accommodated all our needs. When we couldnt figure out why the heater wasnt turning on, he was there to look into the problem in a jiffy it rained a fair amount while we were in Rome so we didnt get to make as much use of rooftop terrace as wed have liked, but it has a FANTASTIC/PANORAMIC view of the city The location of this flat is ideal. We couldn't have been happier with our choice and hosts,

  • I've now stayed in 4 AirBnB properties, and this one was the best by far - and that's saying something because the others were good.

Modern yet cosy, quiet (but in a buzzing area). The apartment felt just right.

It's the kind of place where you can see yourself holed up for months writing a book.

Jimmy and Luisa were helpful hosts to boot. Recommended!

  • Beautiful apartment in the heart of Trastevere, with many shops, restaurants and trattorias around. Renato helped us with everything from our arrival, even with luggage, they invited us to leave within his apartment the day of our check-out in front of us and took us in his car to the train station in our way to the airport. The apartment has what it takes to spend a few days in Rome with all the amenities (no microwave, toaster or cofee machine). The best part? Its terrace, divided into two parts. From the top you can see the dome of the Vatican while sipping a glass of wine on a sun lounger. Magnificent! Arriving not work the wi-fi, but Renato fixed it the next day. Beautiful and unforgettable. Highly recommended to enjoy the Trastevere and Rome.Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • Jimmy's place is very nice, tastefully designed, and perfectly located. It allows you to feel the vibe of the city especially on Friday and Saturday night when Trastevere gets really lively. The location is very convenient for strolling through the old town, as many tourist attractions can be reached on foot. As you can already see from the photos, the view from the terrace is just amazing and we enjoyed a lot having dinners and sipping wine there. Finally, Jimmy's helpers, Renato and Luisa, who gave us the keys, are very responsive and flexible and made us fell welcome. The only drawback of the appartment is that it is run down a bit and some little things like the fridge door, shower handle, etc., do not function properly. It didn't spoil our stay at all. Indeed, we had a great time in Rome!

    Response from Jimmy:

Hello, thank you very much for your positive feedback.
We endeavor to have the flat always in impeccable conditions and I'm going to fix everything.

  • Fantastic place in a fantastic neighborhood. Superbly decorated, very convenient to walk to most parts of Rome, AC was a godsend in super hot summer days, we truly felt at home for the few days we were there.

Also communications with the manager were excellent.

Minor downsides: 5 flights of stairs (the roof terrace made it worth it) and bed sinks a bit in the middle. But that was very minor. Would stay there again in our next trip to Rome.

  • Rome was our last stop on our 2-week European honeymoon and this apartment did not disappoint! It is located in one of the best areas of Rome (in my opinion) with tons of restaurants, cafes, bakeries and produce shops. Even on a Wednesday night, all the restaurants were filled and the streets were crowded with all sorts of people, young, old, local, tourists. There was even a concert series going on right down the street! Definitely an area for people looking for great night life.

Though the highlight is the apartment. Tucked away on the 5th floor of the small apartment building, it has great views of Rome, and is far enough away from the street level that it remains completely quiet. We loved having the top deck to relax on get some sun! It's very well decorated and clean as well.

The only downside to our stay was that we did have a few problems with the internet. It worked fine the first day then just wouldn't connect for some reason, but other than that, overall a great stay!

  • Apartament is lovely - beautiful view for the Trastevere roofs makes the terrace the favorite place to sit with the bottle of wine or a morning coffee.

Air conditioning is installed but it's not powerful enough to compensate the heat of the July's sun.

  • Positive: the location is unbeatable: it's got that buzz in the evenings 7 nights a week, but even though it's in the middle of it all it is very quiet, which is great for a light sleeper like me. The kitchen facilties apart from oven were good to cook for 4 people, the shower was very good. Very good host, internet working fine and the apartment as such is very pleasant.
Negatives: the oven doesnt work, and by looking at the photos we got quiet excited about cooking a barbecue but you are not allowed to use it. We have been advised the washing machine didnt work, but it did so that turned out ok. The air conditioner takes a while to crank it up - a good couple of hours - it was nice and cool downstairs in the lounge but unfortunately still warm in the bedroom.
    I would stay here again.
