Penthouse condo in the historic '30s, with a spacious private terrace and shared garden. Completely renovated, on two floors. TV, stereo, dishwasher, washing machine, internet ADSL wiFi 24/24. In a quiet but lively area, near the University "La Sapienza", close to Villa Borghese, near the Aurelian Wall and the historic center. An island of quiet in the city, striking from the architectural point of view, where you can still find a way of life on a human scale. Well served by numerous bus and underground line B (stop Tiburtina or Piazza Bologna), the apartment is in a typical neighborhood, full of small food shops and crafts, and evening comes alive with bars, pubs and restaurants. A few minutes walk, you can go shopping in the quaint market town of hedged via Catania. Not far away, every second Sunday of the month, the open market at Porta Pia offers furniture, silver and objects of antiquarian books, prints and collectibles.

  • We had a wonderful holiday in Sara's place. The apartment is comfortable and clean, with a great location in a true Roman neighbourhood in relaxed atmosphere. It is close to Bologna square and Tiburtina station with excellent public transport. We especially enjoyed the huge terrace and the cafeteria at the next corner. I can only recommend this apartment.

  • We had a wonderful time in Sara's flat! We enjoied the beautiful terrace every day to eat outside! The neighborhood is very nice and quiet! So we had a very good sleep. But also because the bed is very comfortable! The kitchen has every thing you need and the flat is just great and cosy!
    Thanks to Sara!

Sara was very king and welcoming. The apartment is well equipped and very clean. It is very quiet, bright and top floor with a terrace. The neighbourhood is alive and well attended and there all the nearby shops (bakery, covered market, super market ...). Bologna metro station is 5 minutes walk and is direct to the Coliseum. Sara, thank you again for all informations on the neighbourhood, and Rome.

  • This was a very nice apartment in a true Roman neighbourhood. No tourism here. Just plain Italian life. Though only 5 minutes away from Tiburtina Station with a direct train to Fiumicino Airport. Metro Bologna just around the corner. We had a really good time here! Just don't go for dinner on the other side of the street. Pizza could do but the main dish was a disaster. There are better restaurants nearby. And you can buy freshly baked buns at 200 meters, while the Bialetti is heating your morning espresso in the kitchen. Lovely. Not to mention the terrace on top of the palazzo.

  • I felt in Sara´s house like if I were at home. She is very friendly and the neighbourhood is quiet and you can find whatever you need.
If I go back to Rome I will repeat.

  • Sara is very on top of things, and a great communicator to those making arrangements to stay at her apartment. The apartment is as described, and would be well-suited for those familiar with Rome (less so for those that are not).

We had booked a short stay at the apartment in August (the hottest month in Italy), and found it very uncomfortable as the apartment doesn't have air conditioning. We decided (at our descretion), to move to a hotel where we could be more central and have A/C. This had nothing to do with Sara or her service - simply a choice on our part to make the most out of our time in Rome.

  • Sara has a fantastic apartment in a great, very central location. It takes 5 minutes to walk to Piazza Bologna where you can catch the metro or a bus into the very heart of Rome. Very comfortable accommodations and everything you would ever need in a kitchen. There's fast wifi and plenty of hot water for showering. Sara speaks English better than she gives herself credit for- we communicated just fine! I loved retiring to this gem of an apartment every night after a busy day of playing tourist! Highly recommended!

  • An amazing apartment, with an amazing host. Sara was truly wonderful; accommodating and communicative throughout the booking process - even being ever so patient as we experienced some delays on our end at arrival. And then the apartment; everything I could have asked for & more. Living in Rome previously, I knew of this neighborhood & one day dreamed of having an apartment of my own in these exact buildings. And while that dream never came true, staying in them for a night did. She has a warm and welcoming home, w/ terrace, which is footsteps from public transit around the city, as well as to the airport; absolutely perfect. I not only recommend, but will surely be returning to stay w/ Sara again soon on visits to the city!
