Location, location, location, based in central Dublin (Dublin 2), next to the Grand Canal Theatre and Grand Canal Square and facing the water. The apartment is located 15 minutes walk, short bus ride or 7 euro taxi to the city centre. Or if you don't want to hit the centre of the city one night, there are great restaurants, cafes and bars in the neighbourhood (see the guidebook icon on this list for my suggestions).
There is one double bedroom available for booking (with it's own en-suite bathroom). It is simply furnished with beautiful hardwood floors and floor length windows to the balcony. Continental breakfast (varies; bread, scones, cereal, cheese/jam, orange juice coffee/tea) provided. Let me know when you book if you have any specific breakfast preferences.
When you come to stay in this enjoyable part of Dublin City (Grand Canal Dock), you can enjoy all the city centre has to offer but you're just a few minutes walk away to your base by the water which has more relaxed a laid-back feel.
You are also walking distance to literally all of the top tourist, sporting, cultural and night-life spots. (Aviva Stadium, the Point Theatre (3 Arena) music venue, Bord Gais Energy Theatre, Croke Park, theatres, live music, restaurants, bars, gyms, yoga studio, you name it, it's close by and I'll help you get there).
You also have easy access by train, bus or car to visit the coastal villages of north and south Dublin (e.g. Howth or Dalkey) or to venture beyond into the countryside with Wicklow "the Garden of Ireland" if you feel like a walk/hike in the countryside after your city adventures.
(It's best to message me to re-confirm availability before going straight to making a reservation, thanks!).
Access to the kitchen/dining area for breakfast in the mornings (usually you have it to yourself for breakfast unless you are up early). Outside small table for 2 on balcony accessible from your room whenever you want it. The rest of the day/evening, the living and kitchen area reverts to being private but, if you need something (washer/dryer access, storing stuff in the fridge or whatever), just ask. There is Wifi in your room if you're bringing an iPad for movies, music, relaxing in the evenings.
Interaction with guests
When I'm not in town mostly, I either arrange for keys to be ready for collection at the airport or a good friend of mine manages check-in and check-out, local issues and I am also available by phone/email/Airbnb App. Outside these times, I judge by whether you want to chat or just do your own thing and I'm happy to offer help with day-trip ideas or things to see and do in Dublin etc.
Not many...smoking is on the balcony only.
Yes, towels are provided, you don't need to take up space in your suitcase :) If there are questions unanswered, please just ask!
