Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Nestled in the Sapphire Mountains on 24 acres just outside Stevensville, Montana, is the Sapphire Trout. With panoramic views of the Bitterroot Mountains only ten minutes from the Bitterroot River and highway 93, the area offers hiking, boating, biking, fishing, hunting and many more activities. Private access to thousands of acres of public land allows for hiking, exploring and hunting opportunities and with the views, you won’t want to leave. Welcome to The Sapphire Trout.

The space
The entire porch of the Sapphire Trout is yours to enjoy. Kick your feet up and enjoy breathtaking views of the Bitterroot Mountains or sit back and crank up the AC while you watch A River Runs Through It or other classic movies available by request from our own personal library of over 500 titles on DVD(message host for access). The upstairs is a small low-ceiling loft with a full size bed. We recommend this stay for couples and small families. The 25 acre property is shared with the host family’s cabin which is a hundred feet away.

Guest access
Enjoy relaxing or barbecuing on the porch, walk around the property, walk down the driveway, utilize horse corrals and paddocks, hike or hunt on over 2,000 acres of public land. Recently we added a full size beach volleyball court.

Other things to note
Within an hour drive there’s rivers, creeks, hot springs, Missoula Airport, forests, hiking trails, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, rodeos and much more. Feel free to ask me any questions about other activities.
