PETS: We welcome well behaved dogs at no charge, but ask that you keep them off the furniture and clean up after them before you leave as a courtesy to the next guests. If your dog needs a blanket for any reason, please bring one from home. Please be aware that the property is not fenced. Do not leave dogs unattended.

Please let me know if you are bringing your dog so I can put out a “woof welcome”. We supply dog beds, towels, treats & waste bags for your convenience.

KAYAKS: Two kayaks, paddles and life jackets are available June-September upon request. Weight limit: 275 lbs. Use at your own risk.

PHONE:
The only provider that offers reliable cell service in the area is AT&T. You can use “WiFi calling” to make calls if you use a different phone company.

FOOD:
If you plan to buy your groceries locally, your best bet is to stop in Woodland on your way here before continuing 20 miles to your final destination. (Safeway, Walmart, Grocery Outlet, Corner Store, and several restaurants)

A little further East of the home in the town of Cougar you will find two gas/grocery marts and two small restaurants. It’s a scenic 10-15 minute drive, and a great place to stop and refuel after hiking in the area. (Cougar Bar & Grill, and Bigfoot Lodge at Lone Fir).
