I offer my fully furnished one-bedroom apartment in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg.
It's a very clean, cozy, bright, sunny, warm, comfortable, 40 m2 one-bedroom flat with a beautiful balcony and a great view.
It's a typical turn-of-the-century Berlin apartment, recently renovated (2010), located in an old building from 1906, high ceilings, beautiful wooden floor, charming decorative 'stucco' on the ceiling, furnished and decorated with taste and plenty of nice details.
It's fantastically located in a small and quiet street of the central district of Prenzlauer Berg (Sonnenburger Strasse 74), one of the most beautiful and lively areas of Berlin, and just a few hundred meters from the metro station (U-Bahn and S-Bahn) SCHÖNHAUSER ALLEE.
The neighborhood is very safe day and night, quiet and green but at the same time plenty of things to do.
A lot of shops, supermarkets, Bio shops, art galleries, bars, cafes, restaurants, flea markets, parks are in the area.
The flat is walking distance from the famous Mauer Park, Eberswalder strasse, Helmholtzplatz, Kastanienallee and right in front of the former Vitra Design Museum.
All public transports available: tram (M10), bus and metro (S-Bahn and U-Bahn).
Parking space free of charge is available just a few minutes walk away from the apartment.
It has 1 spacious bedroom/livingroom, 1 fully equipped kitchen/dining room, 1 small but comfortable bathroom (with shower) and a lovely balcony, where you can enjoy your breakfast in the sun or a sunset drink before dinner.
It fits comfortably two people, it's just the perfect place for a couple for a romantic stay in this vibrant capital city.
The bedroom is equipped with a double, very comfortable bed.
One single (fold-out) bed is available to suit small families needs.
There is everything needed for daily life: hot water, heating, free wireless internet, washing machine, fridge, coffee-machine, water cooker, all the necessary kitchen appliances, iron, ironing board, hair-dryer, electric stove with oven, shower, TV, DVD-player, fan, etc.
You'll find a city map in the apartment and lots of recommendations for restaurants, bike rentals, activities in the area.
2nd floor (no elevator).
The price for the apartment is 60€ per day and includes 2 guests.
In June and July, during Easter, Christmas and New Year's time the price will range from 70 to 80€.
People who plan to stay for long periods will be preferred.
People staying at least one week (7 nights) will have a discount: 400€ instead of 420€.
As of 1 January 2014, the federal state of Berlin collects a hotel occupancy tax on all overnight stays in hotels in Berlin. A “hotel” includes any type of short-term, paid accommodation, and the tax is due whether or not the hotel guest actually spends the night in the room.
Therefore, an extra 5% will be charged (and paid in cash upon arrival) to pay this tax.
The minimum lenght of your stay should be of 3 nights, but in some special cases (low season period or 2-3 nights vacancies on the calendar) can be lowered to 2 nights.
Just write me a message if you would like to stay only 2 nights.
Check-in/check-out times can be discussed, I'll try to be as flexible as possible.
When late check-out is not possible, I offer you the possibility to store your luggage in a safe place until your departure.
Linen, internet usage and final cleaning are included.
No pets are allowed.
Smoking is NOT allowed.

The apartment is equipped with everything needed for a short stay (towels, bed sheets, hot water, heating, extra blankets/pillows, cooking appliances, basic bathroom equipment, internet, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, maps, etc.).
Interaction with Guests
I try to welcome the guests personally at every check-in and answer every question they might have.
When I don't manage to meet them personally, they are welcomed by a very nice and trusted friend of mine.
I can always be reached -via phone or email- during the stay to help, answer questions, provide informations and solve problems.
Prenzlauerberg is one of the most popular districts of Berlin: exciting though quite, dotted with beautiful buildings, cozy cafes, hip bars and colorful boutiques.
Bordering Mitte, it's one of the 'places-to-be' while visiting Berlin.
Metro (S-Bahn and U-Bahn SCHÖNHAUSER ALLEE) is just 7-8 minutes walk away from the apartment.
There are also buses and trams not far away from the apartment.
You get anywhere in the city at any time of day and night.
Please be respectful of the neighbors and keep your noise down at all times, especially in the evening after 22.00.
Please, take off your shoes all the time while you are at home.
Please, leave the apartment clean and tidy.
Smoking inside the apartment is not allowed, even though I don't mind you smoking on the balcony.
It is strictly forbidden to illegally download/upload content from/to internet!
If you have any software for upload (torrent and/or similar) switched on on your computer, please switch them off for the whole duration of your stay.
Please switch them off when you go out.
Please, let me know in advance if you have any special need concerning check-out times.
I try to be as flexible as I can and, if I can't guarantee a late check-out, I always offer the possibility to store your bags inside the apartment or the cellar until your departure.
Even we did not meet Maria, she organised very well our arrival to her appartment, friend of her was waiting for us on time.
The flat is almost the same as on the pictures, except the bathroom which has black carpet on the wall now :) It's really cozy, bright and well located! If you need some time to relax, this is the place where you can after a long day.
We had some towel issues, but Maria reacted immediately and solved our problems.

Maria made the process of booking her apartment really easy with her prompt and informative communication. She kindly sent me links to local websites of things to do in Berlin unprompted.
The flat was clean and spacious and as described. The apartment is in a great location for public transport, with lots of cafes and bars nearby. The area is quiet and a good place to relax after busy days out exploring the area.
We enjoyed staying in the apartment and the area and would recommend Maria as an excellent host.
We really enjoyed our stay at Marias flat in Berlin! The apartment was clean and everything was ready (towels, bed..).
The apartment is really close to the metro going directly to Alexanderplatz and Zoologischer Garten for example. There are some nice bars, restaurants and little stores.
We'd definitely come back!
I fell in love with this apartment! The photos were already lovely, but it turned out to be even more spacious, light-filled and cozy in real life.
The location is super convenient, in the beautiful Prenzlauer Berg neighbourhood (which in itself is worth spending a few days exploring on foot), with excellent public transportation connections that'll take you to the most places in Berlin within 30 mins. Yet despite its close location to the buzzing Schönhauser Allee, the apartment is perfectly sheltered from the traffic noise and makes for a great breathing space where you can relax after a full day of exploring the city. And if you don't feel like heading out too far in the evening to find dinner, the streets close by offer lots of delicious restaurants and cafés with both breakfast and dinner options, from sushi to andaluzian inspired cuisine. Maria has also kindly stocked the spacious and charming kitchen with basic utensils, in case you prefer to save a few bucks and stick to cooking at home. She also made sure there were maps available and was a very flexible and conscientious host. I'd be happy to rent this place again any time!
Mein siebzehnjähriger Sohn und seine Freundin haben in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung einige Tage in Berlin verbracht. Alles war tip top sauber und die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Auch die Lage ist top, die nächste Bahnstation nur 5 min zu Fuß entfernt. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat reibungslos geklappt und der Kontakt mit Maria war ausgesprochen nett. Ich kann diese Wohnung nur empfehlen!!!
Die Wohnung von Maria ist absolut perfekt gelegen, zentral an der
U- und S-Bahn Haltestelle Schönhauser Allee und dennoch angenehm ruhig in einer Seitenstrasse, um sich ausruhen zu können.
Man ist innerhalb 5-10 Minuten Fußweg an der wunderbaren Kastanienallee, wo es sich herrlich flanieren lässt und 5 Stationen trennen einem vom Alexanderplatz - zudem sind direkt in der Nähe der Wohnung die Schönhauser Allee Arcaden, wo man sich en masse mit Lebensmittel & Co. eindecken kann.
In der Wohnung ist grundsätzlich alles vorhanden, was man braucht, um sich wohlzufühlen.
Die Rohre in Küche & Bad sind vielleicht etwas in die Jahre gekommen und daher hört man immer wieder mal, wenn das Wasser durchläuft, was für uns aber nicht weiter wirklich störend während des Aufenthalts war.
Maria war eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, die uns stets vor und auch während der Reise mit Infos versorgt und bei Fragen immer behilflich war, auch wenn wir sie nicht persönlich kennenlernen konnten & die Schlüsselübergabe ihr Freund Jan übernommen hat.
Großer Pluspunkt: nach dem Check-Out durften wir unser Gepäck in Marias Keller unterstellen bis unser Zug nach Hause fuhr.
Alles in allem eine definitive Empfehlung, wer das Wochenende oder paar Tage mehr in Berlin verbringen möchte und eine entspannte, zentrale Unterkunft sucht, die für 2 Personen mit ihren 40qm2 absolut ausreichend ist.
Maria is a very welcoming host, and explained everything really clearly. The flat is in a good location for ease of travel to lots of different areas - and really close to the excellent Sunday flea market!
