We LOVE our stay in this cozy home cabin and sorry we got already to checkout today.
We had magical 4 nights, everything was as pictured, indoors and outdoors, the bumbling, crick the nature surrounding and the prompt response from the hosts!
Thorough 3 pages guidelines about restaurants and trails.
Just a perfect dream vacation!
It would surely be more perfect in a warmer and non rainy weather, when u can also enjoy the outdoors BBQ and the fire pit!
We recommend our US friends to come here for summer vacation!
It was really cute and we had a great time! The loft was cozy, the condiments and coffee were nice to have access to, the bed was comfy and big. It was a good blend of rustic and having the comforts of home. We were a little surprised to have neighbors so close, but without them we would've have known we'd left our lights on.
We had a wonderful weekend. The cabin was great. Chelsea and Marty made us feel welcome and comfortable. It was exactly what we were looking for.
We were looking for a secluded cabin near some form of water that was within driving distance of New York City, and we found the perfect place. The cabin is just as advertised sitting on a bumbling Creek nestled in the woods, but not at all far from the downtown Milford. The cabin is well appointed and has a fireplace and all the basic necessities including running water, gas, stove, and refrigerator. The house also has an awesome porch area as well as a fire pit out in the yard. The neighbors house is certainly visible but is not close enough to be a bother of any kind.
There is a fantastic four tiered waterfall that is just up the road from the house. You basically keep walking until the road runs out, turn to the right and you find your own private waterfall. Amazing.
Chelsea and Marty were great hosts, and then we did have one minor issue that was resolved within the hour. They communicated quickly and clearly and certainly would have my recommendation for others that wish to stay in a private and charming cabin that really gets you away from the grind of the city. We have already recommended this place to others and we are sure that they will be staying at Chelsea and Marty's cabin soon.
We enjoyed the seclusion that was so close to town. Milford is a wonderful small town with good eats and a bit of shopping. Especially liked the Blue Stone Pottery! We visited upstate PA for apple picking at Apple Wood Farms, took time to go to waterfalls at the parks and stayed a day at Storm King outdoor sculpture gallery. The cabin is small but comfortable and provided most everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor babbling brook and fire pit was where we spendt most of our time when there.
My husband and I had an amazing weekend at Chelsea and Marty's cabin. We wanted a quite weekend away from our hectic lives which is exactly what we got. The cabin is exactly as pictured and has everything you may need for a quite getaway. The property is great and we loved sitting by the brook, cooking on the bbq, using the fire pit and exploring the property where we greatly enjoyed the private waterfall!! While there we hiked Raymond Skills falls and Child's Park both of which are absolutely stunning. We had dinner one night in downtown Milford which is a very cute little town. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for an escape from their busy lives. Chelsea and Marty were very easy to work with and even left us a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary with!!
Great getaway near a host a fun activities like shopping, hiking, canoeing, restaurants. Cabin looks just like it does in the pictures: clean, cozy, and charming.

Chelsea and her dad Marty are from NYC and love to escape to Milford, PA. They have cabins on opposite sides of the babbling brook. Marty loves antiques, theater, film and wild gardens. Chelsea loves yoga, cooking, growing herbs and vegetables, as well as hiking, kayaking and chilling out with a good book.
As hosts, we want our guests to enjoy themselves, the cabin and the area!! We tend to not want to bother our guests, but are available to help you plan your trip, answer any questions that come up, or provide extra condiments, etc.
We are thrilled that Air BnB has given us the opportunity to share our special spot with awesome folks!
