Chelsea's cabin was in a magical location that felt super secluded while being very close to Milford and the Delaware Water Gap. We really enjoyed our one year anniversary weekend getaway here and wish we could have stayed longer! The bed is really soft- as an fyi to those who care to know- and Chelsea provided all the basics and a little more (bottled water, condiments, dishes, cookware, matches, towels, even bath products). Loved all the extras: the books, the bridge over the brook, the pile of firewood for an evening outdoors - we enjoyed lots of hiking, waterfalls, and unique shops and restaurants in Milford. It was perfectly rustic but with all the comforts of home. Could see this being a more frequent getaway from the big city!

Chelsea's cabin was just as advertised, if not better. We stayed for Memorial Day weekend, and got to make full use of the place, inside and out. It was an amazing time, with plenty to do just at the house itself. A big plus for me was the creek running alongside the house which you can hear from the bedroom window. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering staying here.

We loved our stay! Adorable cabin filled with games, movies, outdoor fun suggestions and then some. We loved the grounds around the cabin and the fire pit. Falling asleep to the sound of the babbling brook was fantastic.

Chelsea and Marty were communicative and helpful, especially Marty when we got lost coming in at night! A few heads-up for future visitors though: I would suggest bringing a SUV to take on the dirt road as it is very bumpy. I was about to bring my brand new compact car, but at the last minute decided to bring the Jeep. Thank goodness. If my new car got all banged up on that road, I would not be happy! Also, the brand new memory foam mattress is nice but a bit soft. We kept sinking into the middle of the bed, and I have a bad back and it did not support it well. Just a word to the wise if you like a firmer bed, this is not it. We very much enjoyed the indoor fireplace, but had to supply our own firewood after the first night. We didn't want to bother Marty and Chelsea with it, so we bought some from Key Food. And finally, there is a next door neighbor that the pictures don't depict. The neighbor came in late one night, and the next morning began his leaf-blower at 8am for two hours, ruining our peaceful slumber. Then they sat on their back porch talking loudly with their guests. Their back porch table happens to look directly into the upstairs bedroom window, and there's no curtain or blinds to block their view! I had to duck while I changed my clothes. So we did not exactly feel like we had escaped civilization. The town is very nice, and Chelsea's suggestions for hikes were helpful. Overall, it is a nice cabin with a good location, as long as you know what to expect.

Chelsea and her dad Marty are from NYC and love to escape to Milford, PA. They have cabins on opposite sides of the babbling brook. Marty loves antiques, theater, film and wild gardens. Chelsea loves yoga, cooking, growing herbs and vegetables, as well as hiking, kayaking and chilling out with a good book.

As hosts, we want our guests to enjoy themselves, the cabin and the area!! We tend to not want to bother our guests, but are available to help you plan your trip, answer any questions that come up, or provide extra condiments, etc.

We are thrilled that Air BnB has given us the opportunity to share our special spot with awesome folks
