Marc's apt is beautiful, spacious and very tidy. I rented it out for my parents and they loved it! The only thing was, it got a little cold so I had to get them a heater. But this has to do with building rules and their heater timetable. Will definitely rent again if the opportunity comes up!
Marc's apartment is very nice with all comforts you may need.
The location is perfect: really close to metro and bus station, shops, market and cafè.
Marc was very kind and always ready to help us during our stay.
We fully recommend this accomodation!
We had a pleasent stay at Marc's appartment. The Q-train to Manhattan is very close but one has to consider irregularities in train traffic. So it can take up to fourty minutes to enter specific parts of Manhattan. Besides that the appartment is relatively huge but not very bright. Although sometimes one can hear the tupe it is very quiet and relaxing. The bed can totally be recommended! The kitchen is very well equipped.
We really enjoyed our stay in New York. Marc apartment is ideally situated to visit New York, as you have subways line Q & B to 2 mn walking. You can also enjoy prospect park easily, using the entry in front of the apartment. In the heart of Brooklyn, we lived as citizen of this « coolest city in the world ». In addition, Marc is so friendly, super polite, kind, intelligent, and great. He speaks spanish fluently, travels a lot, and shares his passion for the dance and the world culture. We highly encourage you to meet up with Marc if you get the opportunity.
Loved the place! Everything was very clean, organized and informative. We had detailed instructions on how to use appliances and the building was in an awesome neighborhood. We really enjoyed our time and will be definitely recommending Marc Manns place. He was a great host!
Our stay in New York was really nice, also because we found such a great place to stay! Marc's apartment is really nice decorated, very spacious, has a good shower and a nice bed, and a full kitchen to use. From Marc's apartment to the metro stop (we used the Q line Parkside Avenue stop) it's just a couple of minutes walk and next to the metro stop is a small but good supermarket: very convenient. The train ride to Manhattan takes about 20 minutes, all night long. Perfect - we bought a week pass for the Metro which was 30 dollars each, so great value. Would definitely go back to Marc's place if we visit NY again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Marc's apartment. The space itself is clean and nicely decorated, and is a LOT of room for any apartment, especially one in NY. Although the bedroom overlooks the Q train line, the sound itself is a mild humming and not anything too distracting. Marc graciously left instructions on how to use his TV, wifi, and laundry unit, which was incredibly helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
The apartment was comfortable and as described. It is large by New York standards. Marc was approachable and helpful. The park opposite was a great outdoor area. The subway was close. Good local restaurants are there, but tricky to find.
Thank you, Marc! It was our first time in NYC and your apartment helped make it a great visit. Everything in the apartment is exactly as advertised and we were very comfortable there. Marc was very understanding about our arrival time; we were coming on an international flight and it was hard to predict how long it would take to get through border control and collect bags. Marc waited patiently for us as there was traffic and it took a bit longer to get there than we hoped. The only negative point in the apartment was a strong cat smell in the entryway - this must be coming from the neighboring apartment and is not Marc's fault. But if someone has allergies, it would be important to know.
Marc was a terrific host, allowing us a late check in and ensuring the place was clean and ready when we arrived. He was there to meet us and explain the essentials which was great after a long flight and arriving at the end of the day. Mark keeps good care of the apartment, apart from the odd corners of dust (pretty normal) the place was very clean. Unfortunately we experienced some allergies but this was easily rectified by opening the window for a day and hiding a couple of diffusers, and Marc was quick to respond to any queries and issues we had throughout our stay.
Overall we found the place to be great, there is a washer and dryer and kitchen. It's about 5 mins walk from Prospect Park station which will take you to Manhattan and to surrounding suburbs such as Park Slope and Fort Greene (well worth checking out). There is a little noise from the train but nothing that should affect sleep at all, and overall the neighbourhood is pretty quiet.
If you are after a quiet neighbourhood near natural attractions (Prospect Park, Zoo, Botanical gardens) and a real Beooklyn experience then I would recommend Marc's place, Marc is a terrific host who will be quick to respond to any issues or queries you may have.
Thanks Marc for making our NY holiday an enjoyable and unforgettable one!
