This is a twin room with its own shower and toilet, so no need to share with anyone else.
The location is great, West End of London. You can't be any more central than this. Hundreds of restaurants, bars, theatres and museums nearby, all with in less than 5min walk. Do expect some noise as it's backed onto restaurants.
Our rooms are simply decorated and are clean and comfortable.
We don't really have a kitchen in the flat, because with so many restaurants are around, our guests are out all the time enjoying their London experience and food. There is a microwave and kitchen sink and mini fridge to make tea or reheat food in the shared area.
Fast Wifi is included. We can do some basic washings for you (1 load a week), or laundry services can be ordered easily from local supplier. Bedding and a bath towel for each guest is provided. However if you are fussy about towels, then please bring your own towels, we wash our own towels and they are not going to be fluffy and sparkling white.
There is no TV as I couldn't get TV aerial installed.
I am a very honest and down to earth person, I want you to be aware of any potential issues before hand and be happy with any bookings you make with me. If there's anything you need, just ask and we shall try our best to help you. We live and work next door with our family. One thing I do ask our guests is that please be considerate to all others who are living in this block and absolutely no smoking anywhere inside the block.
Also I'd like to draw your attention to the fact that this is Airbnb, not a hotel and you are in people's private homes. We do our best to make sure everyone has a great time, but we don't run like a hotel and we are working families, so we are not around 24/7.
Another thing just to be clear -- the flat backs onto restaurants and there're some noise especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
A small but comfortable place in the heart of London. Everything was clean and tidy on our arrival, and there was no issue getting the keys or anything. Easy access from Chinatown and a nice quite break from the hectic urban life outside the building.
- Decent room, clean and legit.
- Very neat and helpful host.
- very good spot, central, ideal for a week-end in London
- very expensive compared to the flat standing (only one window that must stay closed due to outdoor noises)
- very hard to get hot water (prepare for cold showers)
I am sorry to hear that Paul had the hot water problem. I tested it when they reported to me and I couldn't find any problem, but informed them that they can use the alternative shower room if needed. As to the comment about one window. It's a room, and one window in a room is common. The window is normally closed in winter and we open it regularly let air in the morning for a short time.
I really enjoyed the stay! The room was exactly as advertised. The hosts were great and very helpful even when I needed their assistance late in the evening. The check-in process was easy and well organized the instructions after booking were very helpful. The location is unbeatable, central to everything. I would highly recommend this to travelers who want to be in this location.
Very good location! And the place is clean. Hui is very kind and helpful~~ The rooms look better than the pictures~
The location couldn't have been better...I was in town for the Frieze Art Fair which was a pleasant walk from the room. That being said, this is the kind of place you stay at if you don't plan to stay in your room a whole lot.
The free WiFi was a plus.
This place is great! Right on the doorstep of Liecester Square! I think you literally could not get a better location. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Would recommend to anyone
We stayed in the twin room with own bathroom and it was a pleasant experience. The location is the main benefit - right in the center of Liecester Square and everything; an extremely short walk from Piccadilly, Soho, Big Ben, etc etc.
Our room did not have any loud noises at night as it was not towards the front of the building I assume so that was nice. The hosts were very organized and someone was there at check-in and check-out.
Helen was a great host. This flat was in a wonderful location, right in the middle of everything. It was very clean and secure. Helen was easy to get in touch with, was very kind and helpful, and genuinely seemed like a lovely person. She has auto book on the room and someone swiped it while I was emailing with her, she went out of her way to get me another room in her building which was very kind. I would definitely stay here again. Highly reccomend.
Perfect Stay. Location is ideal for seeing london nightlife, but the apartment is perfectly quiet for getting good sleep.
Nice clean room, very quiet despite being in the center of the action, recently redone ensuit shower was nice. This flat is a perfect jumping off point for taking in the sights of Soho and surrounds. I paid the same price a week ago to stay in a hotel room that was not even half the size and not as well located.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
