Blue Heron Cottage is located 4 miles from the heart of historic Cooperstown in the quiet hamlet of Fly Creek. This property is the perfect escape for individuals, couples, or digital nomads. Close to the world-class Glimmerglass Festival Opera, the Baseball Hall of Fame, museums, Ommegang Brewery, wineries, a pristine lake, hiking, fishing, and much more.

The space
This is a quiet cottage tucked away on the banks of Oaks Creek. There is a main living room with smart TV, bathroom, half-kitchen, bedroom, dining room with a writer’s desk, and a small porch. On one side of the cottage is a farm with four beautiful horses that may come greet you. On the other side is an idyllic rolling creek where you can fish or sit back and exhale. A quick 5-10 minute ride gets you most places you might want to go.

Where you’ll be

Cooperstown, New York, United States

Blue Heron Cottage is located in the quiet and charming hamlet of Fly Creek NY. We are a 7-minute drive from Cooperstown & the Baseball Hall of Fame, 20 minutes from the Glimmerglass Festival Opera, and 10-minutes from the Ommegang Brewery. I highly recommend the charming Fly Creek Cider Mill, a 4-minute drive. For those arriving with bikes, you can ride directly off the property to a quiet back country road away from most traffic.
