Ideally placed in 3 KM from Avignon but far from the noise and from the heat of the city center, 50 meters away from the bus stop (Avignon lines direct) nicely decorated, the apartment has a lounge(show) giving onto a balcony equipped with a sofa bed for sleeping around 2 persons, an attractive room(chamber) with a double bed, a bathroom, a shower and finally a perfectly equipped cooking(kitchen) (oven, refrigerator / deep freeze)), microphone(microcomputing) wave etc.;;;) air conditioning, TV WiFi. By lowering(by going down) a flight(volley) of walking(steps) is a part(party) of the garden left with the residents, a terrace and big trees to take advantage of their shades; I live on the spot and shall make always available for my hosts. Native of Avignon I shall know how to guide you and indicate you all the good addresses(places) of the region!
Villleneuve is a magnificent medieval village with very numerous perfectly kept(preserved) monuments, typical businesses and small restaurants and very nice terraces! In July Villeneuve also makes its festival, numerous companies occur there and after the show(entertainment) you can have a drink or have dinner in the terrace of numerous charming restaurants and for all the budgets! Just the Rhône to be crossed to go(surrender) in Avignon
Finally I specify you that the apartment is in the center of my big house and without neighbors (neither above nor below!)

The flat is very nice and quite spacious, with a bedroom, a livingroom, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom. We felt very much at home there. The flat is clean, even if it could do with some renovation here and there.
Villeneuve is a cute village, it is easy to get to Avignon by bus. The only slight disadvantage was that the last bus during the week is at around 21 hrs, at weekends it is a lot later though. If you have a car or bikes, it is the perfect location.
Marie Christine is a great host, she gave us a very detailed description of how to get to her place and lots of tips of things to see in the surrounding area.
Marie Christine est chaleureuse et agréable. Je recommande ce logement sans restriction.
We had a good stay at Marie Christine's appartment. Can recommend this place to further visitors of avignon!
This rental has a lot of potential but it is clear it is a work in progress. Marie is a very friendly person and I hope she is able to bring the place to it's full potential.
The location is good and the apartment spacious. However, during our visit the bathroom had a very strong musty odor. Because it is an older house I worry about the source. Some of the shrubs bordering the stairway to the door should be trimmed to provide easier access. Also, I would recommend an automatic light be installed outside the entryway for when guests arrive after dark. We arrived late one night and had to use our phones to light the stairwell. With a little more work this place can be a very nice rental.
We had a great time at Marie Christine's comfortable apartment. The decor was unique, not the regular Ikea, but full of color and personal touches of an artist. The location in the country up the hill from Villeneuve-les-Avignon was nice and quiet, perfect for us as we had bikes. We both preferred this small town to the too busy Avignon, and the Thursday market was the best for quality of merchandise that we had ever visited. Marie Christine was the warmest hostess. We felt as though we had been friends since childhood. What a wonderful experience! Merci pour tout, Marie Christine
The area is calm and very close to Avignon.
Marie-Christine is a very welcoming person.
We told her that a new bed and new linnens should be considered.
She told us that she had ordered a new one and was still waiting for the delivery. As per previous comments, the driveway is not obvious if you are alone. (you need someone to check the road for you in order to get out) Perhaps a mirror would make it much easier.
Overall, the place needs some TLC.
This place was adorable. The inside was great and spacious, but the outside definitely needs some upkeep. You have to be careful driving out of the driveway. It's on a major street and hard to see when you try to pull out of the driveway. The host was so nice and gave us a bottle of wine. She doesn't speak a lot of English. I would definite recommend this place if you have a car. There is a bus that you could take but it was kind of confusing for me.
The apartment was lovely with its own little garden. Marie Christine was really friendly and helpful and we had a great stay in Villeneuve des Avignon
While Marie is a lovely person, her apartment needs further attention. The most urgently needed improvements are (as a prior guest said) a mirror or other aid to visitors driving out of her driveway because the street is busy and has poor visibility. We were grateful for the fan since it was extremely hot during our stay, but the soft bed prevented our sleeping comfortably. The narrow kitchen counter is not firmly anchored so that when a person brushes into it, it is easy to spill coffee or to knock over things set on it. A pile of construction debris remained in front of the house during the week we were there. The apartment is well-located near but not in Avignon and is quiet at night because it is set back from the street; with attention to the matters I describe and some sprucing up, it could be a pleasant place to stay.
Marie Christine was a wonderful host to us, providing everything we needed, everything was clean and tidy. The house is beautiful, lovely to spend time in. All the furniture was comfortable, the bed and fold out couch.
It its perfectly located just out of Avignon, a 15 minute bus ride away. This was ideal for us because Avignon was so busy in July, and we could then escape the crowds at the end of the day.
