Private, pet, and small family friendly. Less than a mile to the Nisqually entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park. Quaint and quiet cabins (and yurts!) are well off the highway tucked privately under a canopy of fir and cedar with enough sun for lounging after a hike. The two cabins are about 125' apart and share a hot tub. The yurts are 150' apart and have their own hot tubs. All are situated on 6.6 acres with plenty of room for parking, bonfires, or a walk to Wildberry resturaunt for a burger, pie, or Nepalese food! Come back and relax by your own fire pit as each unit has their own outside area! Cabins fully remodeled in the summer of 2019 and the yurts are new summer of 2020/21. Mini split heat pumps provide primary heating/cooling with backup propane heat in the cabins and wood stove in the yurt. Kitchenette with range, microwave, fridge, freezer, pots, pans, toaster oven, and coffee grinder with french press, and bbq. All have memory foam mattresses, down comforters, and mattress heaters in winter. The yurt has a private hot tub. Cabins and yurt require 4 steps for entry and then are a single level inside. Please contact us prior to booking for any special needs we can help try and accomodate.
Brand NEW 8/15/20. *9/21/21 Update - NOW with StarLink Internet along with a GoalZero battery backup (and generator behind that) meaning serious work grade internet available with or without power.*
Top of the line 24' Pacific yurt with all the amenities to take the 'camp' out of camping. The yurt has plenty of space for 2, and can accomodate a small family member on a fold away cot as well. The yurt has a full indoor bathroom, kitchen, dining room table with 4 chairs, pots, pans, utensils, fridge/freezer, microwave, wood stove, and a mini split HVAC system for energy efficient electric heating and air conditioning. Oh, and don't forget about the provided dark roast coffee, grinder, and, french press, as well as the heated hybrid memory foam and latex mattress with down comforter and mattress heater where you can fall asleep looking thru the 5' yurt dome at the stars...or..snowflakes, but more than likely some rain..:)

The space
*9/21/21 Update - NOW with StarLink Internet along with a GoalZero battery backup (and generator behind that) meaning serious work grade internet available with or without power.*

Inside the Yurt you will find a wood stove, to keep cozy during the winter months, an opening dome for fresh air circulation and a mini-split HVAC that provides electric heat as well as A/C. Amazon Firestick TV with Netflix, Prime and more (please don't forget to sign out of your account when you leave).

The kitchenette is stocked with sufficient equipment to cook your own meals. Pots and pans, microwave, 2 burner propane range, toaster, utensils, tea kettle, coffee grinder, French press, and basic spices complete the kitchenette area for indoor cooking. There is a dining room table with 4 chairs that can easily convert into an office space.

The Yurt offers a queen bed located in a bedroom. On the bed you will find 100% cotton sheets, down comforter and a heated pad. A separate bathroom with bathroom amenities (towels, shampoo, etc.).

There is a fire pit outside with a picnic table and a charcoal bbq.

We are dog/cat friendly and we do not charge extra for your pet, but we kindly ask to not have your pets on the furniture. We provide bowls and a pet towel to use during your stay. Please ensure you clean up after your pets inside and out of the home.

We are on community water and a septic. So only natural waste and toilet paper can be flushed. Fixing a septic clog is a minimum of $350 charge, so please remember to abide by these rules! You will lose your security deposit and be charged the difference.

We have a tankless water heater for on demand hot water.

By booking with us you waive all liability for personal injury and property loss. There are small steps around the cabins, please exercise caution. Injuries are no fun for anyone and we want you to do nothing but enjoy your stay! We would love for you to leave with a smile on your face!

Outside you'll find yourself on a 6.5 acre property backing up to the old Nisqually river channel.

Ashford, Washington, United States

One of the quieter rentals in the Nisqually Valley. Well off the highway and NOT in a housing development like most of the other rentals. Pets and children can run free on 6.5 acres!
