The Richmond Wall Centre is one of our newest buildings. Located right on the waterfront marina in Richmond, you are about 5 minutes away from the airport. Both a residential building and hotel, you will have numerous amenities right at your fingertips!
This 2 bedroom spacious suite is centrally located and accessible by skytrain, taxi or by car. You will enjoy your own private full bathroom including a shower and soaker tub.
The master bedroom features a king size bed, end tables, lamp, cordless phone, large closet and city views.
The second bedroom has a double size bed, closet, end table, lamp and city views. There is a second bathroom just past outside the bedroom with another shower and soaker tub.
Living room offers a comfortable, leather couch that folds out into a queen size bed. Please make a request for the extra two guests to ensure there are bedding and towels for the extra guests. There is a sitting chair, plants, coffee table and cable television.
Dining area has access to a private patio/balcony. It can comfortably accommodate 6 guests at the dinner table.
Kitchen is designed with granite countertop, stainless steel appliances, small appliances such as a coffee maker, electric kettle, cordless phone, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, etc. There is a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher and numerous cupboards.
There is ample closet space as well as insuite laundry.
This suite comes with one underground parking stall which costs $10 extra per night. Services included are wireless internet, free local calling and cable television.

*There are additional charges of 12% taxes due upon check in which will be processed separately from Airbnb and which are payable by credit card. Any additional fees/fines that need to be processed as noted in the house rules section of this listing would also be processed on your credit card and are separate from Airbnb.
*A $1,000 deposit will be charged with your stay and returned after check
out, as long as there are no damages. Airbnb handles both the security deposit and cleaning fee.
**Please note that all check ins would now be at the suite which includes meeting a guest at the suite and assisting them with their luggage as well as answering any questions that a guest might have regarding their suite.
Check out time is 10am unless otherwise pre arranged. All arrangements must be made through email. If making a late check out arrangement, please ensure to receive a confirmation email of your check out. This will serve as the ONLY confirmation of your late check out. All unauthorized check outs are subject to a $40 per hour fee until such a time when confirmation is received that the guest has checked out.
Check in is between 2pm and 6pm. Any check ins after 6pm are subject to a $40 late arrival fee. Early check in may be pre arranged and is based on availability.
Building and suite amenities are provided at no extra charge, however, at no time are they guaranteed. Best effort is made to ensure that cable, internet, phone, heat, air conditioning, etc are in good working order. Should one of these amenities not be working, we make every effort to repair services in a timely matter. No discounts shall be given to the rate as these are free services that are provided.
All of our suites are considered non smoking. A violation of this rule will result in a $500 fine.
Some suites may be pet friendly. All pets must be pre approved before arrival. Any extra charges as a result of pets will be deducted from the Security Deposit. This includes extra cleaning due to pet hair, pet damage, carpet stains, smells, etc. There is a $250 fine for pets in suites that are no pre approved.
For guests that are requiring to extend their stay, we will make every effort to accommodate. Extensions are based on availability. Should we need to relocate the following guests in order to extend a stay, extra charges may occur. An email will be sent along to you to confirm the charges before the extension is granted.
Occupancy rates are based on 2 people per bedroom. Any extra occupants must be pre arranged. All linens, towels, cots, etc must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance. Requests made with less than 24 hours will be subject to a $25 delivery fee per cot. Cots are for a minimum of 4 nights otherwise a $25 delivery fee will apply.
Parking is available for $10 per day or fixed $100 for 10 days or more per month. Each guest is responsible for their own parking and to park in their own designated stall. Any fines, tickets, towing charges, etc are the sole responsibility of the guest.
All suites provide for free local calling. Any other charges will be billed to each guest. Long distance calling cards are sold at most convenience stores within walking distance to each suite.
All pertinent information regarding your suite will be provided within 24 hours of arrival. Due to privacy policies for current guests, we do not provide this information ahead of time.
Rates include all utilities such as free local calling, internet, basic cable, heating, water. Any extra charges incurred by guests will be billed directly to the credit card on file. This includes any pay per view movies, long distance charges, heating costs that exceed $100 per month or prorated for shorter stays.
Cleaning is provided for you before you arrive and after you check out. The cleaning fee is a one time fee. The cleaning fee includes a basic clean of the suite such as changing beds, laundry, restocking basic supplies, etc. Extra cleaning charges will occur for extra garbage left in suites, dishes left in sink, stained carpets or linens, etc.
Any damaged or missing items will be deducted from the Security Deposit. Upon check in to your suite, please give us a call with 12 hours to report any damages or missing items that you may be concerned with.
All guests and any guests of guests are expected to abide by building/strata bylaws. Any and all fines assessed by the strata or the building for any reason will be deducted from the Security Deposit.
The concierge service provided at the buildings is for the use of long term rentals of one month or longer. The concierge may NOT be used to pick up or leave keys to your suite, accept packages, provided directions or instructions on building facilities or used for any reason whatsoever. If your stay is shorter than 30 days and you provided the concierge with your suite number, they will assess you a fine for using their service if you are not a long term tenant. Any and all inquiries must be directed to our office staff. There are no exceptions.
Lost keys are subject to a charge of $500 per set. Any keys that are not returned are charged at $500 per set. Each suite comes with one set of keys. Extra keys must be pre arranged before arrival. Requesting an extra set of keys at arrival is subject to a fee of $25 per set. Each suite has a maximum amount of keys, please arrange before arrival.
Key pick up is only allowed by the person named on the contract. Your photo identification and credit card must be presented to pick up keys and must match the name and credit card number on the contract. To have keys picked up by a different person, please make arrangements ahead of time.
Key drop off, please refer to instructions given by the customer service representative. Keys that are to be returned to the office must be pre arranged 24 hours prior to departure. Failure to drop off keys at office by the check out time, will be subject to late check out fees until such a time when the keys are received by the office. Failure to return keys to office will be subject to a key pick up fee of $30 in addition to any costs associated with a locksmith to gain access to the building as well as the suite.
Liability, the staff, owners or contractors of Malibu Investment Corp or (email hidden) are not liable or responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses to occur while on premises or its facilities. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their own use of the premises or other whom they invite to use the premises. In extreme cases such as flood or fire where guests have to be relocated, we make every effort to relocate the guests to a different suite. In the event that we are not able to relocate a guest due to unavailability or unacceptable suites, a refund will be issued for any unused days. It is expected that guests have their own travel or home insurance to cover costs of all and any disruptions to their accommodations.
Should a guest be found liable for any floods, fires or other extreme damages caused to the suite and the to those of their neighbors, the guest is expected to have sufficient insurance to cover the costs of all and any repair to the suite and the neighboring suites. All expenses will be the responsibility of the guest.
Four of us stayed at a 2bd/2ba Richmond Wall Centre apartment for three nights in November, 2010. The place was spacious and well equipped with laundry facilities, kitchen supplies and fast Internet. The rental also came with a free parking space in the underground parking garage. The photos in the listing matched the apartment that we got.
The location in Richmond was very convenient, and it was only 20-30 minutes away from Downtown Vancouver. For those without a car, a Skytrain stop is only a few blocks away.
There were a few downsides on the logistical end:
1) First, we had to pick up the keys from the Malibu offices in Downtown Vancouver. This was a bit inconvenient since we had to drive all the way up from Tsawwassen, through Richmond, up to Downtown Vancouver and back to Richmond. Leaving the keys at the front desk of the apartment complex would have been better (if possible).
2) Second, there was only one set of keys; this is fine if it's for just one or two people. For four people, however, we would have liked to have two sets of keys.
3) Communication with the staff was fine, though I recommend over-communicating and getting everything squared away with the Malibu staff before submitting/accepting the reservation request. One important thing is to determine what extra fee are levied separate from the AirBnB price. We had a reservation fee + cleaning fee tacked on to the price. Fortunately, we arranged to have a late checkout (normal checkout is at 10am) without having any late charges added.
Despite these caveats, we greatly enjoyed our time at the apartment. Even with the added fees, the price and amenities beat staying in a hotel, which would not have separate rooms, a fully-furnished kitchen, two bathrooms, nor laundry facilities. We would consider staying there again in the future.
Stay there this past weekend, from Friday to Monday. The place is pretty nice and location is good. Sky train is within walking distance, however it wouldn't be close enough for a family with small children. Still a hike. Building is pretty secured, feel pretty safe. Rooms are smaller than the picture shown. Nice furnishing, kitchen and bathroom are quite excellent.
We are still sorting out the charges.... Seems like we were charged more than originally quoted... Only thing that kind of makes me leery of this place. Make sure you read the contract with these guys, we asked for an extension of stay (a few hrs) by phone and was turned away due to policy stating that we needed to email them.
