Cozy, newly renovated (washroom is only partly renovated) 900 Sqft cottage situated in the Mons Lake resort area, 14 KM outside of Smoky Lake, AB. 1 hour 15 min from Edmonton.

Situated on a private 1-acre lot has 2 bedrooms that can accommodate 8-10 people. 2 Minute walk to beautiful Mons Lake, known for some of the best fishing in the area.

The private, treed property backs on to a creek which is home to many beavers that are active evenings and love to come out for a photo opportunity.

Mons Lake is a small sandy bottom clear water lake, just over a one hour drive east of Edmonton. It offers a sandy beach bordered by lawn, two playgrounds and some of the best Perch and Northern Pike fishing in the area. With paved roads all the way, many enjoy the overnight camping or day picnic facilities and summer cottages.
Mons Lake is even home to many full time residents. The Lake has an active community association offering many summer events, including horseshoe tournaments, pancake breakfasts, potluck suppers, and a community pig roast. This combined with the July fireworks keeps the weekends full of social activities.

Located only 15 minutes from the town of Smoky Lake, offering groceries, fuel and a modern hospital makes Mons Lake a great choice for summer and winter activities.
