This backyard is a certified wildlife habitat by the National Federation of Wildlife (website hidden) There are gigantic oak trees, and is a bird sanctuary for a great variety of wild birds species you can watch and enjoy their songs.
This was my first AirBnB stay, and it was a great introduction. The room was exactly as pictured, and the house was clean and well furnished. Claudia is very inviting and helpful, and the location is easily accessible from the metro -- I was able to walk to the house from the PG station with a roller bag very comfortably.
I only stayed for one night my first time around, but I won't hesitate to stay with Claudia again the next time I need a place to stay in DC.
Lovely place, just as pictured. The house is very neat and clean. Claudia was a very pleasant and accommodating host. Highly recommend!
It was a great pleasure for me to meet and to stay at Claudia's. She is a really friendly, helpful and kind host. The house is very clean and nice and the backyard is incredibly amazing. The area is very quiet and green; you can enjoy a walk in the neighbourhood; dine out in Hyattsville or be in Washington DC in less then half an hour. If you are researching at National Archives II, this is the place to stay. No doubt, this was a five star experience. Thanks a lot Claudia.
Claudiawas a most attentive host providing with assistance to reach her home by way of collection from station, advising on attractions in the city, as well as transportation to and from the laundromat. The single room accommodation was more than adequate to suit circumstances both as to space and cleanliness. Metro station the 20 minute walk and situated close to other retail outlets.
Claudia is an excellent host, she is super friendly and always wants to help you with your journey. The house is nice, location is good. If you have a car you can easily park it on a street.
A highly recomended place for stay in DC.
Very nice place next to the metro station and the bus station in a nice area! The bedroom is charming. Claudia was very kind and accomodating!
I had a great stay with Claudia! I like my privacy and with Claudia this was no problem. The room was nice and spacey for my stay and the location is great to do research. Nice and quiet, birds which wake you up in the morning and with Claudia a very nice and lovely hostess.
This was my first airbnb experience and I'm glad I had it here at Claudia's home in Hyattsville. The place itself is beautiful and cozy and its nearby public transportation and all that DC/College Park has to offer. I was in town to do research at the national archives (Archives II) in College Park and this is seriously the best outpost for doing that kind of work. The neighborhood's quiet, but everything is accessible by a short walk and commute. There's a commuter bus that goes from Prince George's station (a 5 minute walk away) directly to the archives (Monday-Friday, $1.80 during rush hours only). Also, DC is only a few stops away on the Green line. Claudia herself is a warm host. Great conversationalist, interesting, and very respectful. I highly recommend this place for future researchers and travelers to the College Park and DC area!
It was a great stay! The accommodations were all in place--as in the picture. It was very homy, and comfortable. No complaints. I would definitely stay again!
Claudia is a lovely person who is very kind, helpful, and easy going. The house is great with real character, fantastic wooden floors, and is beautifully furnished. The room itself is large with a very comfortable bed, desk and wardrobe, and two large windows. The neighborhood the house is in is very safe and quiet. There is also a large back yard and porch with table and chairs which I enjoyed relaxing in. If you are coming to DC, I would highly recommend staying with Claudia.
