Interaction with Guests
I will be happy to provide any recommendation and tips for my New York guests. Please check the guidebook on airbnb for this studio with recommendations in the area.
Very nice, clean and safe neighborhood. Plenty of nice restaurants at walking distance. Quiet and family oriented neighborhood but close to many things. Walk to central park and the best museums in town.
Subway 4 blocks away on 86th street. Many buses in all the avenues, except for Park. Taxis are always passing by on Lexington.
Other Things to Note
Quiet Apartment/Facing courtyard. Lots of light.
Leave the apartment as neat as possible and let me know immediately if something brakes so that it can be replaced for the next guest.
Please keep noise down when arriving and leaving with luggage and please be careful not to scratch the walls with your bags.
The apartment was great - great decor, comfortable bed, a big enough studio + kitchen, especially by New York standards. And it's also really quiet compared to other apartments in New York - the main windows face a courtyard, not the street, so there's very little noise. The location is great - it's just a quick 5 minute walk to the subway and there are tons of restaurants around nearby. We would definitely stay there again. Adrianna was easy to work with and responsive if we had any questions.
Nossa estadia foi maravilhosa!!
O apartamento é exatamente como nas fotos, a localização é ótima, a estação de metro super pertinho e te leva para qualquer lugar.
Fomos no inverno e a calefação funcionou perfeitamente.
Adriana got back with us in good time. Her place was just what it appeared in photos and was exactly what we needed. The location and accessibility to public transit was great. I felt very safe in the area. I would most definitely stay here again.
Lovely clean apartment in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood. Plenty of nice cafés/restaurants nearby and easy access to the metro. Central Park a few minutes walk away as described, and within the museum district. Although we didn't meet Adrianna she contacted us on the day of arrival to ensure we had no problems. Had a brilliant holiday. Thank you.
Adriana is a great host! We didn't meet her in person, but she was great with coordinating details and communicating instructions, etc. The place is exactly as it looks in the pictures. At the time we booked, there are no pictures of the bathroom, but I'll tell you it's great, too (some shelving for your stuff, a good size for the shower considering the apt. is so tiny--no European closet shower here). There are storage options (empty closet), which helped us keep the studio tidy and homey for our whole visit. The neighborhood served us well as we planned all excursions to be museums (be sure to see the Neue gallery!). The space was quiet (partly due to being on the 4th floor--a little extra cardio with the stairs!), offered light and accommodated all of our needs. I highly recommend!
Although I didn't meet the host, Adriana was very helpful and polite and cheerful in messages. It is a good neighbourhood. Lexington has lots of variety. It is great for visiting the Met and the Guggenheim on foot though it doesn't take long to get anywhere on the metro. It is easy to get to and from LaGuardia on public transit. You just take the m6o bus from the airport to 125th street in Harlem and then take the metro (6) down to 96 street. Then it is a short walk. That costs $2.50 instead of a $36 cab ride. The listing is accurate. It is a charming small studio apartment with a tiny full kitchen. It was perfect for travelling solo to look at art. It would also be good for a couple that gets along well.
Adriana's mother met me at the apartment and showed me around; she was charming and very helpful. The neighbourhood is very clean and apartment quiet and extremely cosy on those cold January nights.
The apartment is exactly as depicted in the photos with Central Park art galleries and museums nearby.
A short walk to 86th street subway and many great restaurants and shopping nearby. The espresso at Juliano's the best in NYC. A Most enjoyable stay and thanks to Adriana and airbnb.
