Perfect weekend getaway. We had a lovely weekend and Conrad was an excellent host. The cottage has everything two people need and was in a fantastic location. It was especially nice to be able to take our dog and be able to explore the fabulous garden and wood with her. Hopefully we manage to stay again soon!
If you are looking to get away from the city for a few days and relax but don't want to travel too far then this place is perfect.
Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful time chilling out and going on lovely countryside walks and it was exactly what we needed.
Conrad left us with complete freedom and his premises are stunning.
The property itself is very cosy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
This is a great escape from London. Travelled by train - Great Chesterford or Audley End are pretty near and with tickets booked in advance (and with my network rail card) I got tickets for £6 each way!! Book your taxi the day before though.
The place is lovely - incredible grounds and potentially the best bed I've slept in. The walk to town is easy (along narrow lane) and there's a nice cafe and a coop for all your homely needs.
Would definitely recommend the cottage for a short stay. Communication with Conrad running up to arrival was excellent. Everything ran smoothly and we had a lovely few days. The cottage was clean, tidy and warm and the perfect quiet, relaxed break we were hoping for. Bus connections to Cambridge from Linton were good. All in all a great trip and good host.
Conrad's communication was great - everything worked like clockwork and had a very pleasant stay in his cottage. HIghly recommended.
Cosy Cottage is a perfect rural retreat - off the beaten track, set in extensive grounds, and surrounded by lovely countryside, but also accessible to local shops and pubs, and not far from Cambridge and pretty local market towns. Conrad was a great host - always prompt in responding to communications, providing clear information, friendly and helpful. We stayed here for the Christmas week to be accessible to family near-by - and it suited our needs perfectly.
Amazing place, we had an absolutely fantastic time there, would definitely visit there again. Highly recommended.
We only spent a night in the Windmill House, but we were very warm and cosy, and it had everything we needed!
This has been a welcoming and interesting place to stay for a few days while my house is being renovated. Perfect location for my two whippets who enjoyed galloping around the grounds and making friends with Vader, Conrad's doberman. Slightly chilly at this time of year (late November)...!
Charming place, ideal for a get-away-from-it-all break. We were there in Autumn, but it must be lovely in Summer. Countryside all around, but close to Cambridge too. Linton is a lovely village. Highly recommended.
