  • I spent over a month with Melanie, relocating to the San Francisco area. Her place is welcoming, tastefully decorated, warm. It is located in a quieter area, 4 blocks from the ocean and multiple parks. The room you stay in has a comfortable bed, is clean, has storage, and a fabulous updated bathroom

Melanie offers suggestions for places to eat, shares what she knows of things happening in the city, AND she knows of the best way to get there! Her suggestions always were great. There couldn't be a better ambassador for San Francisco.

I originally booked for a month, and ended up rebooking, extending my stay for several more weeks. Melanie's proved to be in a perfect spot for beautiful coastal vistas that are easy to walk to, and an easy drive to the Golden Gate as well.

Sharing stories, over a glass of wine, a cup of coffee, laughs, Melanie will make you feel welcome. This has been a five star experience.

  • I had a wonderful month at Melanie's place. She was a terrific host. She was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about SF. The place is extremely clean, new bathroom, and very spacious. Walking distance to bus line and walgreens. It's very close to the beach and VA hospital. I had a wonderful month. I definitely recommend this place!

  • This was a very nice place, Melania is a hospitable and helpful host and her appartment is very nicely located, little outside the downtown, near the Golden Gate park and the beach. This was perfect for us as we like of outdoor activities and having nice restaurants easily at reach. And of course, not for the least, the bedroom is comfortable and very clean. We would definitely choose to stay at Melanie's place again.

The room/apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable, in a great location for my needs, close to bus routes, Ocean Beach and the park. I have no hesitation in recommending Melanie. Thanks

  • First and foremost, Melanie was an exceptionally welcoming and warm host. I stayed with Melanie as a rotating medical student visiting from the East Coast for one month, and she made my time in San Francisco feel at home. She was always willing to offer advice about the city, great places to eat, and things to do. She was also great conversation. That said, she very much respected my space, was not intrusive, and not remotely overbearing, which was much appreciated as a person who was busy and introverted at baseline.

Concerning the space, her apartment was spacious, neat, and homey. She regularly had fruits and breakfast items stocked to share. The shared living and dining room were great places to lounge, work, or study. The bedroom was spacious and bed was comfortable. I very much appreciated having my own bathroom and an in-house washer / dryer. Regarding location and accessibility, it was very convenient having a #38 MUNI bus (i.e. one of the main East-West bus lines) stop nearby.

I would definitely stay with Melanie again if I were to visit San Francisco!

  • My husband and I stayed at Wolfe Point Place while visiting our son, who lives right nearby. Melanie's home provided the perfect home base for our stay. The room is pleasant, well-appointed and quiet at night. And it was nice to have space to spread out a little in the common area. Melanie is generous, kind, helpful and interesting. She gave us excellent suggestions, was fun to talk with, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and more. She is someone I would value staying in touch with. We would definitely consider staying with Melanie again.

  • As someone who travels over 70% of the time and has many travel experiences, I can say that this is one of the best I have had anywhere! Melanie is a most gracious host and a wonderful person! She went above and beyond to help in any way she could to accommodate me and make me feel at home. I have most certainly gained a friend as a bonus. Additionally, her home is beautiful, clean and comfortable.

Lastly, the location is ideal. Close to a bus stop and also close to walking trails.

I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone else considering a visit to San Francisco.

  • I spent 16 weeks at Melanie's place and it was better than anything I could've expected! Melanie was an awesome host who was always helpful, whether it's offering me rides to places I needed to be at or letting me know of any interesting events happening around town. Her place is beautifully decorated, the bed is super comfy and everything was always very clean. The apartment is only a 10-minute walk from the ocean and convenient enough for getting into the city. I would highly recommend staying at Melanie's place for anyone who's visiting San Francisco!

  • When I was deciding about a place to stay in San Francisco, my heart told me that I should stay at Melanie’s house first. And my heart was right. The experience couldn’t be more perfect.
The entire house is stunning, gracious, extremely clean, and you see interesting choices of art, colors and lights that matches with the good energy you feel as well.
Melanie is a fantastic, generous, kind and beautiful person with a great soul. Incredibly hospitable and helpful, always checking if I was comfortable, she has done everything possible to make my stay pleasant. As I was studying English, her perfect speech helped a lot.
I highly recommend Wolf Point Place and I would definitely stay again. I’m also happy to know that I made a good friend in San Francisco.
