Interaction with Guests
I live in the house. Room is at the top of the house. I always welcome the guest on arrival to ensure they feel at home, can find their way around and answer any questions they may have
I love the sense of community. Rialto is like a friendly village in the city. The street I live on has all age groups and types of people. Every year we hold a street party and there is a sense in the neighborhood that people look out for each other
Parking is on street and is free. There is easy access to regular buses and the tram. Also the Dublin bike scheme has a station only five minutes away
Other Things to Note
Rialto is so close to parks and the grand canal - if you are into walking or running you can just go out the door and get some fresh air!
The house is a family home and is lived in. For that reason it would be expected that guests respect that they are sharing with other people in terms of noise late at night etc.. - though the atmosphere is very relaxed. There is no smoking inside the house but people smoke in the garden (this is common in Ireland). We live in a lovely quiet neighbourhood so respect with regard to neighbours is expected too.
Nice stay at Roisin's who spent time giving us precious advices and talking about our respectives lives. Clean and pleasant home, we recommand !
The room was exactly as described, and just what I needed as I was basically out in town most of the time and needed somewhere decent to sleep. I was sorry not to get more time to chat with Roisin, who is a welcoming and thoughtful host. Highly recommended.
I had a cozy stay at Roisin's and was made to feel very welcome. The room is comfortable and spacious, and the house is near a bus stop and the luas, making it easy to get to central Dublin.
Roisin was very welcoming. She was extremely gracious and helpful for sorting out my travels. I appreciated her thoughtfulness and willingness to help me feel comfortable visiting Dublin.
I stayed 3 nights in Roisins house. The location near the Luas in Rialto, Dublin 8, is very practical and the city center is therefor very near. The room and bathroom are very nice, practical and clean. But for me the most important was that the host, Roisin, did me feel really home. Thanks a lot Roisin. We will meet again.
Fantastic stay with roisin and her son leo! Would definitely recommend the place
