Easy and comfy. Was very content with my stay
This is a great place with wonderful hosts that insured a smooth and easy stay, especially considering that my travel plans changed a few times. The studio apartment is very comfortable, clean, well decorated and has a wonderful view of a communal garden. It is also very well situated, around a five minute walk to each of Earls Court Road and Gloucester Road tube stations.
I would definitely return for a short to medium length stay.
The reservation was canceled 25 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Stayed at this funky little flat for a week, and we have absolutely no complaints! Very clean, bright, and the deck and view of the garden is amazing. Earls Court is a beautiful area and a walkable distance into central London.
We had a wonderful time in this special place! The furniture is not only very functional; it’s also very stylish and well designed. Shure, the apartment is small, but as you know it beforehand it’s no problem. Especially when the weather is nice and worm and you can spend most of the time outside on the beautiful terrace. It is really something to look down on the people picnicking, walking their dogs, playing with their children. So much better than staying in a hotel room – you could really feel part of real life in downtown London. The area is nice, safe and everything in easy reachable distance. So thanks Linda and Sebastien for everything. We warmly recommend you as perfect hosts and your studio as the perfect place for wonderful moments in this amazing city!
We loved the location of the studio. It was really easy to hop on the tube from Heathrow to Earl's Court station and walk to the flat. Overall the flat was great, but there were a few minuses as others have previously noted. I'm small so I don't mind small spaces, but the bathroom is really small. If you are taller than me (5'5"), it will be hard to sit on the toilet without sitting to the side as it is so close to the wall. The sink size was small as others have mentioned if you are trying to wash dishes, but the rest of the studio size was fine. Small, but not too small. Loved having a place to hang clothes as well as a very good quality hair dryer. No need to bring your own hair dryer if you are staying here which was a huge packing bonus for me.
WiFi worked great and the deck was nice to have. Bed was okay, but not super comfy.
Only other issue was that the storage area lead to by the ladder in the pictures was completely full. I was expecting to be able to use this space as it is empty in the photos, but it was full of luggage and other random items.
To end, I can't stress enough how great the location was and the book of local information including maps and restaurants was really nice as well. Sebastien gave us an excellent recommendation for good pub food in the area and he also told us which pub not to visit for the food.
The studio is really small but it has everything you need. The location ist perfect and and the terrace is huge and quiet - we could sleep with an open window. Jonathan and Linda are perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend their studio.
Linda and Sebastien's place is very charming. It has a picturesque view, opening up onto the lovely Branham Gardens. The apartment is in a great location, too: a 5-min walk from Earl's Court station (and the Dr's Tardis), but not in the noisy area of Earl's Court. It also has an amazing and spacious deck, with bench seating, large dining table and bbq. The bed was also super comfortable and warm, the internet reliable and fast, and my overall stay was very pleasant.
Linda and Sebastien were very thoughtful hosts, too. They were friendly and helpful, allowing us to check in extra early (which I really appreciated after a very long flight and stopover), and had left a guide with instructions, restaurant suggestions and maps of London, and even some chocolates on my pillow!
(Although some of the reviews have mentioned the size of the studio, it was smaller than I expected. Because it's a studio, the kitchen is just an inset above the fridge, and the bathroom is compact. But I'm used to living in a house not a flat, so maybe that's why I noticed it.)
Thanks Linda and Sebastien!
We had a fabulous 4-night stay in Linda & Sebastien's cozy Branham Gardens studio! We chose this studio based on its central London location, the gorgeous space and the hosts abundance of positive reviews. The studio is exactly as pictured. The living space is small however the ceilings are high and the space is bright which gives it the impression of being larger. It is well layed out with enough room for two adults and surprising, given the overall size, ample room to store luggage in an overhead loft space provided you don't mind climbing a short ladder. The bathroom is very small. Unless one of us was in the shower, it was virtually impossible for both of us to be in the bathroom at the same time. The sink is tiny and as previously reviewed, must also be used to wash dishes. The small alcove about the bar fridge earmarked as kitchen space lends itself to the preparation of light meals only. We used it to prepare basic juice, tea, cereal & toast breakfasts. None of these issues however negatively impacted our stay. What makes this studio extra special is its superb location with easy access to Earl's Court tube station (5 minute walk), proximity to restaurants, pubs and shops, the super comfy bed and bedding, the incredible outdoor living space and Linda & Sebastien's excellent communication, warmth and friendliness. This was our first Airbnb experience and launching point for our European adventure. Linda & Sebastien patiently answered ALL of our questions before and during our stay and also kindly accommodated our request for a late check-out. It was a wonderful first stay. Choose this urban oasis with confidence for a wonderful, romantic and carefree Airbnb experience. We will definitely choose Linda & Sebastien's cozy studio again the next time we visit London! -Karen & Brett (Toronto, CAN)
Location - Location - Location! Linda & Sebastien's flat is exactly as advertised! Such a great location with easy access to Notting Hill, Chelsea, and practically every Underground line in London. Although small, everything is in its place. The weather was cool in late May but we made the most of the lovely terrace when we had the chance - so great to see families enjoying the outdoors and parties going on while we got ready for dinner. My sister-in-law and I found the flat to be quiet, clean, and very comfortable. When we accidentally tripped up one of the window blinds, Sebastien kindly fixed it for us. Do no hesitate to stay here! When you need to get out of the neighborhood, the Earl's Court station is a three minute walk away. When you want to stay nearby, there are plenty of restaurants (yummy Indian!), bars, and quick marts (Marks & Spencer food) nearby.Love this place, would stay again.
