Elegant canal district studio

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Wolvenstraat, Amsterdam, North Holland 1016, Netherlands

The Space

Spacious and tastefully decorated studio in the very heart of Amsterdam's historic canal district. Located on one of Amsterdam’s famous “9 Streets”, the apartment is just a five-minute walk from attractions including the Royal Palace on Dam Square, the Anne Frank House and Amsterdam’s flower market.

It doesn’t get more central than this.

The picturesque streets of the popular neighbourhood straddle the 17th Century canals. The 9 Streets offer some of the city’s best shopping, including boutiques, galleries and vintage shops. There are also plenty of great bars, cafes and restaurants – ranging from trendy to traditional. The flat is just a few minutes walk from most of Amsterdam’s top attractions, a short tram ride to central station, and within a few hundred metres of all shops the you could need: the supermarket, butcher, baker and pharmacist.

The apartment itself is on the first floor (one floor up) of a city monument and was recently renovated to a top standard. It is airy and light with hardwood floors and traditional elements such as a fireplace, chandelier, and a French balcony overlooking the street – a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the world go by.

The flat features a fully equipped modern kitchen, cable television, Apple TV (so be sure to load your films on your iPad or Macbook) and wireless Internet. It also has a new bathroom with a rain-dance shower. The double bed is of hotel quality and very comfortable. But with the press of a button it retracts into the wall, offering guests the opportunity hide it away during the day if they so desire. A host of other amenities are included: among them a washer, hair dryer, guide books, etc.

Special requests – such as daily maid service, grocery shopping, and a baby bed – can be accommodated for an extra fee. Pick-up and drop-off service can also be arranged.

While we prefer a minimum of two-nights, we'll consider single-night stays, depending on other bookings and our own availability.

We're eager to help you with any questions or requests you might have. Just ask.

Note: This is strictly a non-smoking unit.

  • The apartment is impeccably clean and looks exactly like in the picture in AirBnb website. Plus It's centrally located in the heart of Nine Streets. Karl was very friendly and helped recommending the restaurants/bars nearby. He also helped book the taxi for us on our departure. Great place and great host. Will definitely stay here again for our next visit to Amsterdam.

  • This is a charming wonderful apartment in a perfectly located neighborhood in Amsterdam. It's possible to walk pretty much everywhere you would want to go. Karl and Rudolph couldn't have been better hosts. They responded immediately when we first inquired about renting and when we were there were readily available by phone to answer any questions. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well-appointed and equipped and the bed quite comfortable. We stayed a month and left with heavy hearts.

  • Again! A perfect stay in the city thanks to Karl and Rudolph lovely hosts.
The flat is decorated with the finest taste, it's very welcoming and cosy and it become hard to find the balance between enjoying the city or chilling in the appartement.

The location in the amazing 9 canals neighborhood is full of good place to eat (I recommand Thrill Grill for people of enjoy eating a good burger) to do shopping or going out for a drink with the local crowd. It's also close ton centraal station, the city center, tram stops and you can easily find places to lock your bikes

Everything is in accordance with what you see on the website, it's even better,

    Will come back for sure

The studio is beautiful and the guys have paid great attention to the finer details, making this an ideal and comfortable base from which to explore Amsterdam. I couldn't recommend more highly!
