Spacious and tastefully decorated studio in the very heart of Amsterdam's historic canal district. Located on one of Amsterdam’s famous “9 Streets”, the apartment is just a five-minute walk from attractions including the Royal Palace on Dam Square, the Anne Frank House and Amsterdam’s flower market.
It doesn’t get more central than this.
The picturesque streets of the popular neighbourhood straddle the 17th Century canals. The 9 Streets offer some of the city’s best shopping, including boutiques, galleries and vintage shops. There are also plenty of great bars, cafes and restaurants – ranging from trendy to traditional. The flat is just a few minutes walk from most of Amsterdam’s top attractions, a short tram ride to central station, and within a few hundred metres of all shops the you could need: the supermarket, butcher, baker and pharmacist.
The apartment itself is on the first floor (one floor up) of a city monument and was recently renovated to a top standard. It is airy and light with hardwood floors and traditional elements such as a fireplace, chandelier, and a French balcony overlooking the street – a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the world go by.
The flat features a fully equipped modern kitchen, cable television, Apple TV (so be sure to load your films on your iPad or Macbook) and wireless Internet. It also has a new bathroom with a rain-dance shower. The double bed is of hotel quality and very comfortable. But with the press of a button it retracts into the wall, offering guests the opportunity hide it away during the day if they so desire. A host of other amenities are included: among them a washer, hair dryer, guide books, etc.
Special requests – such as daily maid service, grocery shopping, and a baby bed – can be accommodated for an extra fee. Pick-up and drop-off service can also be arranged.

Made to feel welcome on arrival. Didn't see hosts apart from arrival. Apartment exactly as advertised. Location brilliant for walking tourists, but the street was very noisy on some nights.
We had a truly wonderful couple of days in Amsterdam and it was made all the more special by the fantastic location of the beautiful apartment that we stayed in!
Right in the middle of a beautiful area within walking distance of everything needed, it really was the perfect situation.
Every time we think about travel to Amsterdam, we think about this cosy place. We fell in love with the neighborhood, its shops, cafés, restaurants and the atmosphere.. Once again we had such an amazing time by strolling between the town and the flat.
Rudolph and Karl are both lovely hosts, they remained available and accommodating.
We will return without hesitation !
Amazing location - great shops, restaurants, and a high-end grocery store right on the same block. Well taken care of apartment. A great way to do Amsterdam.
Just another five star review... This place is amazing. The location couldn't be better (5 minutes from the action but on a relatively quiet street) and the interior speaks for itself. Equally - or maybe more - importantly, the hosts were accommodating and welcoming. Our best AirBnB experience yet. I completely recommend and hope one day to return.
Beautifully appointed, stylish and cozy, and very well equipped kitchen. It was a perfect location for us, in the heart of 9 streets. We would not hesitate to recommend and look forward to a stay in 2015
We're an American-Dutch couple who enjoy travelling a lot ourselves -- particularly to the south of Europe, the UK and the United States.
We're fitness buffs (when we're not drowning in work) with a fondness for film, good hotels and great restaurants. And one of us is a fine amateur cook.
And while we like to travel, we're also very proud of our city and are eager to do our best to ensure our guests have a great stay here.
