Unfortunately we did not really get to meet Ale and Sara, as both seemed to have obligations elsewhere when we arrived, so Sara's mother introduced us to the apartment (fortunately my wife speaks Italian).
We appreciated the food items left for us upon arrival.
Due to bad weather conditions we were not able to use the pool, however, if we would have, we would also have heard building/constructing noise most of the day, as new houses were constructed in the same cul-de-sac. We would have appreciated a warning about this in advance.
Comfortable beds, good wifi, nice big modern TV, good oven, nice couch.
Nice views over Perugia, but also some traffic noise due to busy autostrada nearby.
Freddie is a very friendly but lonely dog......
All in all a pleasant stay.
the host are very very attention of all needs the huose is exactly as describe in the airbnb .
Ale & Sara were great hosts to us! Even before the trip, they were very proactive with communicating with us on any of our needs. They also helped us verify driving directions, and were easy going with our arrival and departure times. We stayed at their place during our trip to Perugia for a friend's wedding.
The neighborhood itself is pretty easy to get to with the help of a GPS and a fairly close 15 minute drive to the main area in Perugia (which is highly recommended). We rented a car and there's a local market in case you want to stock up and cook... not sure where the nearest bus station is.
A few notes:
- Sara and Ale left wine and some snacks for us to munch on, which was more than nice of them!
- They also provided a snapshot of local attractions to check out :)
- The house has many of the basic amenities you may need for cooking which is great!
- With a party of 4, it can get a bit cozy as the sleeper sofa in the living room/kitchen becomes the bedroom for 2 people. Not bad since there is plenty of space outside and because you should be outside to see the city anyways :)
- Mosquitoes! Maybe it's the area of Italy, but you may want to bring some bug spray as they seemed very active in September.
- The pool is not heated (like many pools in Italy). Hot tub usage was extra (like 10 euros/per person/per day)
Ale and Sara were very kind en helpfull. There appartement was great, very clean with a nice kitchen provided with coffee, juice, milk, wine, and nice breakfast. Attaced to the appartement a great terrace and on the corner a nice swimmingpool. We didnt had enough time to use the pool unfortunately. The place is near the center of Perugia but you really need a car to get around.
Thank you Ale and Sara for staying at your place.
