The Space

Comfortable room with one bed (that can turn to be two), with mattresses of really good quality, parquet on the floor, and the beautiful Alps view from the window.
You can use the bathroom and the equipped kitchen as you like.
I provide to my guests clean sheets, towels, hairdryer and an iron (if necessary).

The flat is at the 11th floor, it's composed also of a nice living-room, with a little balcony, and another double room, for about totally 80 sqm.
Free private fenced parking for your car is available just in front of the house.

In the neighborhood there's a big mall (in Bonola Station) and a few shops just a few steps from my house: a pizzeria, a hairdresser, a small grocery, a post office, a bar and a typical Italian restaurant.

The house is 2 minutes walking from the underground station of "San Leonardo" (M1 - red line). Direct connection to the city center - Duomo - 20 minutes by metro - and 5 minutes from Rho-Fiera (big fair) (just 3 metro stops).
25 minutes from Malpensa Airport by car, 50' away by public transportation. Buses bring you directly to some neighborhoods (no. 69 to Piazza Firenze, and no. 89 to De Angeli M1 station).

Neighborhood is a residential area, really safe and quiet, with private gardens, lots of bicycle paths and a secondary school in front of the house. The right place to find peace, far away from the traffic of the centre, but to a pace to the most interesting places of the city centre by metro!

What really distinguishes my place from others in the city are the wide parks, like "Parco di Trenno" or "BoscoinCittà" (1st Italian example of urban reforestation), actually one of my favourite in the city...the best place for running or playing any kind of sports.

If you feel lost in Milan, just ask me and I will help you as far as I can!

N.B. For the LAST SUPPER of LEONARDO DA VINCI, try to book it minimum 2 months in advance, as it'always overbooked!

If you want, I can pick you up from/to Malpensa Airport (to be paid apart 40 € per trip) by car. It will take 30' to my house.

Once you book my room, please take care of the instructions to reach my place! I noted them down to help you!

  • Tatiana was the perfect host for a first time air bnb experience. She was especially patient in helping me navigate the website. Had some laughs and great gelato with Tatiana and Gregory.

  • Tatiana was an awesome host. She could not be more helpful and kind that what she already was. I enjoyed my stay throughout regardless a major hiccup where my wallet was stolen in Milan, but Tatiana was so patient and kind to help me with everything and for that I thank you one more time. Thank you for the wonderful conversations that we had and I wished that I could have stayed longer. The location of the house is so close to the Metro station and only a few stops away from the city center, which makes it a perfect choice for anyone who stays here. Fully recommended!

  • If you are looking for a nice and quiet place to stay Tatiana's flat is a really good choice. It's nearby the metro station from which you can get directly to the city center within 25 minutes. Tatiana and Greg are very kind and hospitable. They were very helpful providing us information about what to see in Milan and how to get there. We had a very comfortable stay and we could recommend Tatiana's apartment for your stay in Milan.

  • Do not understand why Tatiana has got so great reviews. The only good thing with the stay was our ability to agree on the terms before we came after Tatinas confused e-mail. When we arrived the place was a mess located too far away from the city (30 EUR cab) .
On her profile it says internet is available which is false, we got a bad usb internet that was so slow that it did not connect.
The room is located just beside her bedroom so every morning we woke up early from hearing the door slam after they leaving the bedroom window open. Later, they woke us up two morning in a row by knocking on the door, very disrespectful.

In the kitchen it was old food on the bench for our whole trip and on the toilette it was not even toilette paper. After the second morning of waking up from the noise we left one day earlier than expected. I would not recommend Tatiana.

    Response from Tatiana:

    1) My house is clearly located as visible on the map and taxi tarifs are not under my control
    2) USB Internet always worked fast, except these days, because the limit was probably over
    3) The door of my bedroom slams because of the wind. Nobody have ever complained about this. It's just a question of shutting it.
    4) I forgot to put the toilet paper on, my fault. I don't know what about the old food on the bench in the kitchen, but mostly I don't know why you should care of it, since you renounced to have the breakfast.
    5) I found very disrespectful literally escaping from my house, without any advices.

  • I had a very comfortable stay at Tatiana's house. She was very kind and hospitable; Tatiana and her boyfriend took me out for delicious pizza the night I arrived which was wonderful since it was late and there were very few places open for dinner nearby. They offered me lots of great suggestions on things to do and see in Milano, and they were very friendly and fun to get to know! The place is a 2 minute walk from the metro stop, and from there it takes about 25-30min to get to the Duomo and the heart of the city. The kitchen wasn't as clean as I would have liked, but other than that I had a very pleasant stay!

  • Séjour à deux. Mise à disposition de la cuisine et de la machine à laver. Le petit déjeuner était composé de Céréales et de gâteaux secs.
    Tatiana parle très bien français.

About
Hello everybody! I would like to host you while you're staying in Milan. I like to travel and meet new cultures; I love art, and the innate beauty in the harmony of the shapes in general. I think it's important first to let you feel at ease as it is your own house: a good cup of tea, a comforting smile to look at, a nice chat on the trip, on life, on our troubles as citizens of this complicated world. I am sure I can give you good tips about places to visit, restaurants, shops... how to enjoy life in Milan, even for a few days! See you soon! My motto is "Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional"!
