Hello there! This is a great 2 bedroom apartment located at the intersection of so many popular neighborhoods in Brooklyn: Fort Greene, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, etc. It's on the 3rd floor of a two-apartment building. It's also just a couple blocks from the new Barclays Center so if you're here to see a show there, you'd be only a few minutes walk away.
The available bedroom is in the back of the apartment so street noise at night is at a minimum. There is a comfortable queen-sized bed in the room. The closet in the bedroom has plenty of space to stow luggage and has plenty of drawers for your stuff, too, along with shirt and pants hangers . In the summer time an A/C unit is in the room as well as a fan and there is heat in the winter (and if you're especially chilly, there is also an electric blanket).
The apartment has one bathroom so would be shared with me. The medicine cabinet above the sink is empty for guests to use. It's a bathroom so not much more can be said about it.
There is nice-sized living area with a separate dining space so the apartment doesn't feel cramped. Cable television and wireless internet are provided (but there is not a landline telephone). The kitchen has good counter space and plenty of cooking utensils, pots, and pans should you want to prepare food at home.
All bed sheets and towels are provided. There's an extra bike if you're inspired to ride to the Brooklyn Promenade, Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, or anywhere else.
Almost all subways are close by at the Atlantic/ Pacific station (B, D, N, R, Q, 2, 3, 4, 5, and the LIRR) and the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station is just a little bit farther with the A, C, and G trains. You can be in Manhattan in just a stop or two or take the G up to Williamsburg. BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) is just a couple blocks away for when you need a culture fix.
In addition to the great restaurants Brooklyn is known for, there's also a 24-hour diner across the street for your late nights, a laundromat on one corner, and a Walgreens at the other.
Definitely let me know if you have any other questions!

Had a very nice stay. Great location and Joshua was very helpful. Room was nice and apartment was very comfortable.
We had a fantastic week at Joshua's place. The apartment is perfectly located, close to 3 different subway stations (5min to Atlantic Ave, 6 min to Hoyt-Schermerhorn and 10 min to Bergen Street - Wall Street is a 10 min subway ride, Times Square about 25 min), close to lots of nice little restaurants (our favorites were the Konditori on Smith Street for Breakfirst - swedish café with grat bagels, Joya on Court Street - Thai food for very reasonable prices, Sottocasa on Atlantic Ave - very good pizzas and a heavenly fluffy tiramisu and MOB on Atlantic Ave just on the other site of the street - a great restaurant with vegan burgers and delicious desserts). Joshua is the best host ever. He is such a nice guy and was very helpfull with everything. The immediately felt like home at his place. Highly recommended!
I stayed 5 days at Joshua's place - excellent location in Brooklyn (less than 5 minutes to the Atlantic terminal). The communication before and during my stay was very good (e.g., easy to find the apartment and collect the key). The room is nice, as shown on the photos. In sum, I definitely recommend this place.
Joshua left keys and left a nice welcome note for my pickup and it was very easy to find the place and get inside. He is very friendly and trustworthy. I definitely recommend
We had a great time staying at Joshua's place. He was rarely home but when we did cross paths he was very sweet! We were unsure of check in and check out times and he was most accommodating. Made us feel welcomed. Apartment was very spacious just like his ad stated. Great places to eat within walking distance. Huge train station just a few blocks away. This being our first time using Airbnb we would highly recommend Joshua. Great experience !
Joshua was a very gracious host and the location of his apartment was convenient for me. Unfortunately the condition of the bedroom and bathroom was much below my expectations.
In the bedroom the lamp base was thick with dust wtih some discarded kleenix on the floor by it. An overflowing trash basket was by the desk with dust thick by the bed. The bathroom was worse. It had not been cleaned in some time. There was dirt and grime on the bottom of the toilet, the floor by the tub and the tub itself. The trash basket was full. The rooms had not been cleaned in quite a long time for that much dirt/dust to accumulate. I took pictures and would be happy to share them. I ended up only staying 2 nights instead of the 3 nights that I paid for.
One of the reasons I booked this apartment was the many reviews claiming the apartment was very clean. Since the cleaning fee was only $10, that only must have covered clean sheets and towels. I wonder if the host even realizes how unclean his accomodations are. Not knowing him, I was not comfortable telling him how I felt while I stayed there for two nights.
I would not recommend this listing until it has been thoroughly cleaned.
I had a great stay at Joshua's.Really nice person & host, clean & well decorated apartment, comfy bed.I really enjoyed the neighborhood, safe & (email hidden)ally convenient location, 4/5 minutes by walk to C train (Hoyt S.), 2 minutes from the LIRR station (Atlantic).Would totally go back, thank you Joshua!
The room was nice and clean as pictured, and Joshua was a very welcoming host. The apartment is in a great area of Brooklyn and very convenient to transportation.
Me and my partner visited NYC for 11 days and rented a room at Joshua's place. We felt welcome right away. The location was perfect: in the middle of nice, cosy neighbourhoods with lots of nice restaurants and multpile direct subway-connections. We got to use Joshua's bikes a few times to explore the city even better. The room was spacious, the bed was great and we appreciated the privacy. Joshua was a great host, he gave us tips and was always reacheable since he wasn't at home that much. NYC felt like home away from home. Enjoy your stay at Joshua's!
I had a perfect stay at Joshua's place - key handoff went perfectly despite my arrival while Joshua was at work, and it was a comfy, clean room to stay in. Unfortunately I was so busy with wedding stuff I never got the chance to meet Joshua, but he has a beautiful apartment and was great in communicating what needed to happen. Thanks!
