Where you’ll be

Gray Mountain, Arizona, United States

Big Hogan Enterprise is located on the western part of the Navajo Nation and near the Grand Canyon National Park, south rim. About 15 minutes from the entrance. This area is a traditional and sacred homestead for five generations of my family, and has a rich history and culture. Surrounding scenic views include the Little Colorado River, Painted Desert, Grand Falls, Antelope Canyon, and Monument Valley. Cameron is the nearest town, located 18 miles east of Big Hogan.

Yaateeh! Greetings! My name is Alberta Henry. In my Navajo culture, we introduce ourselves with our clans. I am Hashkaan Hadzohi (Yucca fruit strung along clan), born for Todichiinii (Bitterwater clan), my maternal grandfather is Kinyaa aanii (Towering house clan), and my paternal grandfather is Tsinaajini (Black Streak wood people clam). This is how I am a Dineh (Navajo) woman. I am from Nania Hasani (Cameron), Arizona. I was born and raised in this area. I am married with 4 children. We grew up raising horses and love all animals. I have a large family and love our close-knit family and the kinship we have through our clan system. I like learning, reading, taking on challenges, change, and adventure. Exploring, trying new things and traveling are some of my favorite activities and I am passionate about extending these activities on to you.
