The living area has windows looking out toward Market Street in Havana for beautiful sunset views. The space has been meticulously restored and boasts high twelve foot ceilings, original restored crown molding, exposed brick and original hardwood maple floors.

For your convenience and enjoyment, the kitchen includes a full size range, refrigerator, microwave, a coffee pot and kitchen essentials with high end cabinetry, custom tile back splash, and a full size kitchen island with seating area.

The bathroom features custom tile floor, large pedestal sink and a shower.

The North Bank Loft features a separate bedroom with a queen size, modern bed, fully restored skylights in the ceiling and beautiful original mahogany wall paneling and mantle with an electric fireplace. It boasts a quaint designated living room, sitting area that includes a full size couch with a pullout sleeper.

The loft is a large, open, bright space, decorated to highlight the historical significance of the 1880 bank building while delivering the best of today's modern conveniences in boutique style lodging.

*Traveling with another couple, family or friends? Rent the lofts together! The Historic Havana Lofts feature the South Bank Loft and the North Bank Loft, each with a queen size bed and a full size pull out sofa bed. We can accommodate up to four people in each loft.

*Although we do not allow the lofts to be rented for parties, we know that our space is perfect for many smaller scale events. We do permit the lofts to be rented for girls nights, sleepovers, small bridal and baby showers, and for brides and grooms to get ready on their special day and use as their bridal suite. The light and features of the building make it the perfect location for special photos.

The Historic Havana Lofts are located in the heart of Downtown Havana Illinois on Main Street. Our little river town has undergone a major revitalization effort in the past four years, and we have a beautiful new look in downtown that highlights our historic red bricks streets and features brand new sidewalks, decorative bump outs and beautiful landscaping. The lofts are conveniently located near many favorite local restaurants, all of our new shopping boutiques and the Main Street Beer Garden.

Hi! I’m April and my husband David and I were both born and raised in Havana, IL. I have recently rediscovered it finding historic buildings, beautiful architecture & amazing natural resources. We are excited to share our historic building on Main Street & our adorable downtown cottage! We enjoy traveling & discovering new places & we like the experience that staying in short term rentals offer. We always feel like locals in brand new places!
