Rent a master bedroom with private bathroom. Please note that there are 2 other bedrooms which may be rented and if you have pets you need to read House Rules. There is also a two night minimum. I have 2 motion detectors, 1 in the entryway & 1 at the top of the stairs that are only turned on when the house is vacant.

Master bedroom with private bath. Located on the prestigious West Shore of Lake Tahoe, this beautifully furnished 2300 square foot home overlooking the Lake has it all: Spacious open living area includes well appointed kitchen, living room, dining area, and sweet sitting nook. Large sunny deck and lawns, forested property with a wildflower meadow, and homeowner's beach and pier.
I built my place 35 years ago as a retreat from everyday life. I now live here most of the time, but want my guests to appreciate it as much as I do and to fully enjoy all that it has to offer.
Guests will have access to the living area, which has an HDTV , DVD, WIFI, & AppleTV, and a large slate wood burning fireplace. They also have access to the laundry area with washer and dryer and a heated drying closet under the stairs for ski boots and clothing.
I will interact with my guests as much, or little, as they desire.
I love the rural setting with close access not only to the Lake, but to outdoor activities and Tahoe City, less than 5 miles north. Public transportation, TART, has a stop at the bottom of Elizabeth Drive and there's even a free shuttle service provided by TART Connect..

-Lighted winter sled run, night and day, next to the house.
-Cross country skiing & snow shoeing in the winter, and cycling & hiking in the summer, in fabuluos Blackwood Canyon, just around the cornerstone
Also, please be aware that you are requested by the State of California, Dept of Transportation, to carry chains, & not cables, with you during winter months, even if you have a 4-wheel or all wheel drive vehicle.

It is a very quiet neighborhood, close to everything but very secluded. My property comprise almost an acre, including two Conservancy lots, which provides complete privacy.
