Gunvorbu is a high standard Arch cottage (114m2) with stunning panoramic views! Great sun can be enjoyed on the terrace from early in the morning to late at night. The cottage is located on Jønnbuflåtin 802.m.o.h. with short walking distance to Winterland and Lifjellstua (season open in winter and summer). The cottage has 16 beds and is great for 2-3 families.

The space
The cabin has 3 parking spaces just outside the entrance door as well as an electric car charging station. There is also shared guest parking 5m from the cabin.

Inside the cottage you will find 4 modern bedrooms and a spacious home for children. All rooms are equipped with heating cables, 2 bedrooms have a double bed and 2 bedrooms have bunk beds with room for 3 people in each. We have two great bathrooms with shower and surround facilities, one bathroom is connected to the master bedroom.
On the hoist there is room for 6 people with full TV equipment, PS4 and Altibox.

The kitchen is fully equipped for 16 people with dishwasher, large fridge, etc. So here's just making great meals to enjoy. With a dining room and living room in the same room, this is a perfect place to entertain both kids and adults.

Lifjell is a great mountain where you can enjoy fantastic hiking opportunities both summer and winter. With 100m walking distance to the top of winter land and countless ski runs inside the mountain, you have plenty of opportunities for activity in winter.

In summer, these ski runs are fantastic walks with a great view of Midt-Telemark. 10 minutes before arrival up to the cabin you will pass both Bø Sommarland and Høyt och Lavt climbing center. Shopping opportunities are available in the centre of Bø with shops such as Kiwi, Meny, Rema etc.

If you want to take a trip to Norsjø, this is 30 minutes away. Norsjø Ferieland has one of Norway's best cable parks and a nice restaurant with good pizza and ice cream.

On request, a DayCruiser can be rented on an hourly basis.

Gunvorbu is a high standard ‘Buen’ cabin with amazing panoramic views! You can enjoy the amazing sunshine from morning until late evening (those great long Norwegian summer days) on our beautiful terrace. The cabin is located on Jønnbuflåtin which is 802 m above sea level, and is within short walking distance to ‘Winterland’ and Lifjellstua (restaurant). The cabin has 18 sleeping spaces and fits 2 families comfortably.

Directly outside the cabin we have 2 private parking spots and a mounted charger for Electric Cars. About 5m away from the cabin there are additional parking spots.

Inside the cabin you will find 4 modern bedrooms (2 master bedrooms & 2 rooms that fit 3 people in bunk beds), in addition to this there is a loft that fits 6 mattresses and is equipped with TV & PS4 - perfect for kids or teenagers!
There are 2 full bathrooms with surround sound - one is an ensuite.

The kitchen is fully equipped for 18 people with a dishwasher, large fridge etc. in other words, fantastic for hosting large meals. With the living room and dining room in the same space this is a great room to entertain both kids & adults.

There is free password secured high-speed wifi & cable throughout the cabin and a fantastic soundsystem in the living/kitchen area.

Lifjell is a great mountain where you can enjoy amazing hikes both in winter and summertime. In the winter you’re just 100m away from the top of Winterland (kids slope) as well as numerous cross-country paths.

In the summer these paths turn into great hikes with beautiful views of Midt-Telemark. About 10 minutes before arriving at the cabin you will pass Norway’s largest water park - Sommarland, as well as an outdoor climbing park which are both great activities to bring your kids along to (equally fun for adults). Downtown in Bø you have cafe’s and plenty of grocery shops.

Not too far away (30 min) from Lifjell is the beautiful Norsjø lake, and at Norsjø Ferieland you can find a Wakeboarding park, restaurant and beach that are worth a visit.
