  • Great location, nice room and only minutes walk from the Pompeii entrance gates and make sure you join them for dinner. The meal which was incredible! (The dinner was one of our trip highlights!)

  • The two days we spent in Pompei were extremely hot which made the walks in Herculaneum and Pompeii sites quite challenging for us, two people over 65. Luckily, we had this shadowy oasis with a swimming pool to come to - Giuseppe and Lorena's villa which became for us home away from home.

We had a spacious room with a private bathroom, everything pristine clean and perfectly working, including air conditioning, which was especially appreciated on those hot days.

Breakfasts at the swimming pool were generous and delicious. Each resident had an option to order a dinner, as well - and as far as I know, everybody took this opportunity to have meals cooked by wonderful chef Domenico (which for $15 pp was a real bargain!)

When we had to move on, Giuseppe arranged for a taxi which took us to our next place at Amalfi Coast.

Thank you very much, Giuseppe, Lorena and Domenico for making our stay in Pompeii so great!

  • Our room was clean and comfortable but nothing spectacular. Breakfast and dinner on the other hand were both wonderful, some of the best food we had during our stay in Italy. Very convenient location for visiting the ruins.

  • The room we stayed in did not really match the pictures nor description on the website. We were in a room in an old villa several doors down from the one described and where in fact we went for breakfast. the room was advertised as a deluxe double with Vesuvio view. We did have the view and the room was extremely large and the bed was comfortable. the bathroom was also very large and the water was hot. There the resemblance to deluxe ended! There were no curtains on the windows, no bedside tables nor any bedside lights. No wardrobe apart from a zip-up cloth hanging space, no TV, no hair dryer, no chair nor desk- not deluxe by any description. Having said that the breakfast was ample and the optional extra dinner was excellent value at 12 euros a head with at least 4 courses. The meals are served in an outdoor area , under a roof overlooking the pool. It is more like a hostel than what we expected from an airbnb. However prices are high in Pompeii so it probably represented reasonable value just not what we expected

  • We found this place very easily and were welcomed warmly. They kindly made us lunch and got us settled in our room as quickly as possible. The food there is of an excellent standard and we enjoyed dining there for dinner as well. This B&B is located very close to the ruins and is an easy walk into Pompeii town. The room was warm, clean and spacious. The hosts are very warm and welcoming people. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

  • What a WONDERFUL B&B! We stayed in the Vesuvio Room, which had an absolutely impeccable view of Mt. Vesuvius. Our host's father offered us breakfast and dinner each night, which was delicious, and for an affordable price. Dinner was a fun confluence of other travelers and their stories, broken languages, and general fun. The father speaks Italian and French, but no English, however the son (Giuseppe) and his wife (Lorena) speak English fluently.

The location was a short 10 minute walk from the Pompei ruins and the Pompei Scavi train station, which made daytrips to Sorrento and Herculaneum a breeze. Highly recommended!

Voor de genieters van lekker eten op een goed gelegen plek, niet twijfelen.

  • Apartment was very big and comfortable. Perfect location to walk to the ruins or train station. Host was very kind and offered advice for our day, places to visit, etc. The best part was definitely the food though! It was delicious! Very good breakfast and dinner!

  • My husband and I have stayed here last spring (2013) and loved it so much we returned this year. Great host and the food was wonderful. I'm sure we will go back again and certainly recommend it to everyone that wants to see the Pompeii ruins. It is literally across the street.
