Welcome to our Horse Farm. You can stay in our 1 bedroom "cozy" guest house, on our 6 acre Farm. We have grapes (Syrah), Apples, and Icelandic Horses. Wake up to horse grazing right outside the apartment.

The space

This is our guest house on our Horse Ranch. Its a cute modular home with great light and amazing views across our Horse Farm. The horses are let out to graze from 8am to 7pm and a really fun to watch graze, play, and run.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the entire farm (except the main house). It includes the vineyard, horse barn. We just ask that you are careful as horses are big powerful creatures and can be dangerous, and they are out and moving around during the day.

Interaction with guests

We greet our guests but let them (and us) have our privacy. If guests are interested in meeting the horses that can be pre arranged.

Other things to note

We can arrange tours of the Horse Barn, if arranged ahead of time. Check in time is between 2 and 4pm unless other arrangements are made. Check out time is 12 noon.

A quiet, peaceful spot not far from amenities and the ocean. We had a restful time watching the horses roam around the grounds. Hosts were super friendly. We'd highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the horse farm! Beautiful setting, very quiet. The horses are friendly, and so are the dogs. The apartment is small but big enough for a couple and small kid. It has lots of windows to let in natural light, and give you a nice view of the entire farm and the horses. Nice gesture of the hosts to welcome us with a bottle of (their!) wine. We also enjoyed the (Belgian!) beer we found in the fridge... The kitchen has all the amenities you need but do remember to bring (or buy) your own cooking oil. On our first morning, we'd noticed there was no fresh coffee, but the hosts kindly supplied us with a fresh pack of coffee which was very much appreciated. Also: support local economy and check out the Aptos farmers' market on Saturday (there was a vendor selling fresh pasta); as well as Gayle's Bakery (we had breakfast there - twice, and enjoyed their sourdough baguette for lunch); and the sausages from Corralitos Market & Sausage Co. If you're looking to unwind and getting out of busy city life, then this place might be a good choice!

Mountain Icelandic Farm was a perfect retreat for us! We love horses and it was so nice to see adorable Icelandic horses wonder around the farm and eat delicious apples from trees. Cozy apartment had everything that we needed, bed was comfortable, modern full kitchen, and shower had a good pressure with hot water. Bruce is a great host making us feel comfortable and welcomed. My husband and I had a really wonderful time! Looking forward to staying at Mountain Icelandic Farm again.

What a treat to wake up with gorgeous Mountain Icelandic horses grazing right outside the window, and the sun rising over beautiful wine grapes!
