On recommande !!
A friend and I visited Porto just in time to celebrate the Festival of Sao Joao, it was amazing! We had a great time in Porto! The apartment was very central and it was easy walking distance to most of the sights of Porto. It was a reasonably comfortable stay, however the apartment could do with abit of improving. The bathroom especially smelt of mould and we had to keep the back door open to allow fresh air in.
We really enjoyed staying at Miguel's place.
Miguel gave us very good advices to visit Porto.
The apartment is very nice and very well located right in the city center. You can enjoy almost all nice things to see within a walking distance.
The only thing negative was that the apartment is very humid and not very well ventilated.
We had a nice stay at the apartment. All sites are in walking distance. Miguel was very nice and helpful. He even came over on Friday night to rescue a bird that was caught in the patio. The often mentioned port wine also made our welcome perfect. Lucky enough, we found a parking spot near by. The house is nicely restored. The rooms match the pictures. We chose to sit at the front porch in the sun as well. The patio in the basement next to the bedroom was a bit to enclosed for us to sit and chat. The apartment was clean and well equipped. So thank you Miguel for your immediate response on airbnb and for our first time in Porto!
Our journey was absolutely perfect, we do recomand this flat. One of the best area to stay in Porto and an incredible flat. Miguel was so helpful.
Un buen alojamiento y muy céntrico en Oporto. El anfitrión se ha portado muy bien solucionando todas las dudas y problemas q hayamos tenido. Estoy contento con el resultado
We loved this place. Pedro was amazingly accommodating when we arrived and gave us great recommendations for places to eat, see, and go out. We had a great time in Porto and would have had a harder time finding our way to the nightlife without his suggestions (and the guys LOVED the francesinha that was recommended!).
The flat is clean and very comfortable. The location was also perfect. Easy to get to/from the airport or really anywhere else as it's across from a train and metro station. It's right in the middle of the old town and didn't take more than 10 minutes to walk home after too much port and beer. The area feels safe and the apartment is really charming and well-decorated. Really couldn't say more good things about our stay!
Lovely renovated apartment - really a large studio on two floors. Kitchenette and table with three chairs upstairs. Sleeping area and bathroom downstairs (below street level but with lots of light) . There is no "sitting room" (chilling out area) as such, and the outside seating area is really just a thin strip of open space at the back and very bottom or the building. We spent our "outside" time on the front door step, watching the locals walking up and down the cobbled street - and made friends with the morning and evening "cat ladies" who were on faithful feeding duty for the rather large population of stray/wild cats.
The apartment is on the edge of the old city, so within easy reach of all of Porto's sights. We discovered a lovely bar on a quiet square just 5 minutes away - serving the loveliest glass of vinho verde!
However, I would say that the apartment is not really located in a tourist area. We felt safe, but when the two upstairs apartment were empty during the week, it didn't feel as if there were people in the houses right around us.
