I am proud to present this fabulous two bedroom recently renovated apartment. The flat, which is on the top floor of a private block, consists of two double bedrooms, a large reception room, a separate fully comprehensive kitchen and a bathroom with both power shower and bath. There is solid wooden flooring throughout and porcelain tiles in both the kitchen and bathroom. The property, which has full double glazing throughout and is taken in a very clean state, also boasts fantastic views of Canary Wharf and comes with off street parking. The block is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. There are also communal gardens in this popular development. Everything can be provided for your stay, including towels and bedding.
In the local area you will find everything you need for a great stay; there is a large Sainsburys, cafes, restaurants, and trendy bars all within walking distance of the flat. The flat is very close to Goldsmith University campus, so could be an ideal base if you are visiting the university for a conference. The area also has great transportation links and the flat is located just a few minutes from New Cross Gate Station, which gives you access to the overground and the mainline. There are also numerous buses, which pass close to the flat and go straight to central London, including several night buses, so you can always get home no matter what time of night! You can be in Trafalgar Square (by train) in just 15 minutes. The vibrant and eclectic area of Shoreditch is also just 15 minutes on the overground. The location is ideal for any tourist!
No contact with host,but all entrance and key pick up were as instructed,all good.
Sidney was helpful and responded to texts quickly. the place was as described, good internet, clean kitchen and bathroom. you have to walk quite a bit from the property to sainsbury's and new cross gate. the flat is on second floor, no elevator. so if you have big luggages mind this. neighbour from the first floor was loud at night and they smoke (we left the window open since it was hot). on the last night of our stay, i asked sidney if we could vacate the property at 12pm instead of 10am and he said we could stay until the cleaner comes. however the cleaner came at 9.15 saying that she needs to clean the house (we had to use google translate since she said 'no english') because there were guests coming in at 10?? tried to call sidney but unreachable. we were really upset by this because even the prior arrangement said we had to vacate at 10 but we were 'hushed' by the cleaner at 9.15? and if there was supposed to be guests coming in at 10 (which is ridiculous) he shouldn't give us false hope of staying later than 10. tbh, our stay wasn't that bad before that morning of our last day.
Die Wohnung hat alles nötige beinhaltet und liegt in einer ruhigen Wohnlage, perfekt auch mit einem Mietwagen zu erreichen. Der Zugang erfolgt per Code-Schloss, die Vermieterin war nicht vor Ort, was aber auch kein Problem war. Zur U-Bahn (bzw. Overground) sind es ca. 12 min. zu Fuß, aber gut machbar. Nach ca. 25 minuten ist man in der Innenstadt.
Für den Preis absolut okay und empfehlenswert.

Good value for money. Little bit far from the train station especially when you come with heavy luggage plus there is no elevator. It was great base for making trips in London, Sainsbury is close. Our group of six people slept there comfortably and there us almost no noise from street.
We spent 5 nights in Sidney's flat. The first thing we had to do after a good 20 minutes walk from the station was to talk one of the neighbours into letting us get into the building... Sidney wasn't there, the door opener doesn't work after 2PM (it was about 2.30) and he didn't turn up until 7PM...
The kitchen is rather well equipped, but if you want to have a meal there, you will have to go shopping first: the cpboards are absolutely empty, not even a jug of instant coffee or a couple of tea bags!
For a 5 nights stay, we were provided one towel each... and only one set of keys, for a flat where 6 persons can stay.
The station, bus stop and nearest shops are all 20 minutes walk. There is nothing to help you find your way around in the flat, not a map of the area, or the bus routes, nothing.
The flat is clean, and the view from the livig room window very nice.
