Hi guys Gaby here: to get a feel how close we are, look at the video http://(website hidden)/watch?v=qVzgLcDjWzY
Please don't be put off by this listing being outside of Manhattan. We are closer to Midtown Manhattan, Times Square, Theater District, Madison Square Garden, Grand Central Empire State Building, Saint Patrick's Cathedral, and Rockefeller Center than staying in other parts of Manhattan (Wall St., Upper East or West Side, above 70s... We are closer than all parts of Brooklyn and definitely way closer than staying in Queens/Bronx).
About your accommodations:
Private luxurious room, one room with a queen-size bed and the other rooms 2 full-size beds, nightstands, open spacious beautiful hardwood floors and exquisite mahogany color to help you relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping or whatever you please; we will welcome you with open arms.
Take a bath or soak in marble soaking tub with a shower head that makes you feel like you're bathing in the rain. Take a walk down a beautiful lit hallway to the great kitchen right out of a James Bond movie, a great experience. A beautiful large living room with crown moldings all around you, room with views of the New York skyline as background, sit down to a glass of wine, hear your favorite music watch TV in 42" HDTV mounted on the wall for your viewing pleasure. This is what Robert & Gaby your hosts will provide for you; they will greet you as part of their family. If you need them or request them, they will be right there for your assistance. your privacy and accommodation will be our responsibility and our pleasure.
About the neighborhood:
The neighborhood is quiet and very nice, 100 steps from a family grocery to buy what you need. Walking distance to banks, pharmacy, and 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan (Time Square/Port Authority Bus Terminals). You'll reach Midtown faster from this location than from locations even located in Manhattan.
you need while away from home maps discount tickets to your favorite plays to get you going a large stainless steal refrigerator, microwave, toaster, two coffee makers

Great energy and very peaceful! Feel free to message me with any questions!
We had a perfect stay! Everything as described! Many thanks to Gaby and Rob we would defenetly stay there again!!
Très bon séjour. L'appartement est très agréable. Le quartier est calme et j'en desservi par les bus, mais les tickets sont chers! (27$ le carnet de 10 tickets / 3$20 le ticket à l'unité ).
The place was very nice. Super clean! Is close to Times Square and very easy to find. We didn't have any problem with our room. The bus service is available all the time.
Gracias Gaby por tu hospitalidad , con seguridad regresaremos .
Great room, great view and great hosts! Thank you so much and hope to visit here again.
Very nice place to stay. Good view and accessibility to Manhattan and surroundings (bus, diners, ect.). The hosts Gaby ,Robert and Robert jr. are really friendly and open. Thanks
Very centrally located. The bus only takes 10 min to 42nd street. You only have to walk five blocks to get onto the bus. The apartment is nice and big enough for six. You only share the bath.
Thank you Gaby!
Good points about this house are surely the position and the price: you spend less money than for a house in Manhattan but you are close to there! The bus stop is 10 blocks far and the bus takes 10 mins to arrive near Times Square. The service is 24 hrs and the price's 3 bucks.
The house is shared by many guests and the host lives in another place. The smell in the house was sometimes not so good and the floor in our room was wet. The wifi password didn't work and that's a big problem! And it's not easy to park without resident permission. The host forgot to give us the permission and fortunately it was Labour Day weekend, otherwise we couldn't have parked anywhere in the nearby. Anyway the host is nice because she sent us an email the day before the arrival with all the information.
We stayed at Gaby's place for a day. When we arrived, our room was not cleaned up actually. But it was her misunderstanding of her guests schedule. After we let her know the room condition, she immediately sent a housekeeper to clean it up.
In terms of transportation, I don't think it's like Manhattan. Probably, local people can go to Manhattan easily, but it would be difficult for tourists. We took a cab from Times Square to Gaby's place because the distance itself was not so long, but the actual cost was very expensive like $60, which was due to an extra fare charged for crossing from Manhattan to NJ. It was also very difficult to find a bus from Manhattan to NJ and also from NJ to Manhattan. I guess we should have checked the information on the Internet beforehand. We relied too much on smartphone.
Overall, it was nice to stay at Gaby's place.
Unfortunately, we did not have the chance to meet Gaby, but she replied very quickly and friendly when sending emails. The place was clean, the beds are great and the spot is ideal if you have a car and you don't want to bring it downtown NY. Via special small buses, you can reach NY in 20 minutes for only 3 dollar.
Breakfast is not included, but there's a fridge to bring your own stuff. You might share the apartment with other guests.
Price/value is very good, we would definitely recommend other travelers to book this place!
