SOME TOURIST INFORMATION:
La Carrera del Darro and the Paseo de los Tristes is for many one of the world's most beautiful streets.
Its official name is Carrera del Darro until it opens a wide avenue overlooking the Alhambra, here his name is Father Manjón, but popularly known as the Paseo de los Tristes for being the place where the funeral procession passed in way to the cemetery since the beginning of the century until the rise to the cemetery (behind the Alhambra), was done by the Cuesta de los Chinos, which begins at the end of the ride, so all the funeral procession passed by this place.
This walk runs parallel to the river Darro, formerly Dauro (Latin Aurus = gold) because people have used to wash gold in their orillas.En past this river was crossed by numerous bridges, of which the bridge connecting the Cadi the Alhambra with the Albayzín. Another of them leads to the source of Hazel is Aljibillo Bridge, still standing.
The Bridges of Cabrera and Espinosa are still preserved in good condition and allow us to contemplate across this beautiful ride from another perspective
Walking the street is a festival for the senses as the traveler accompanying the beautiful views of their churches (San Pedro), convents where the nuns sell candy, Arab baths, the smell of incense and spices, bright colors from the picturesque craft shops, bars and restaurants. You can always stop and listen to musicians who give their show on the street, under the imperturbable gaze of the mysterious Red Castle, the Alhambra
The location is fantastic, just above the river Darro and in front of Alhambra Palace
Very easy access and elevator in the building
this is a very romantic place with a bohemian atmosphere
minibuses and taxis are allowed to pass though this street

Lovely apartment right next to the Alhambra. Leafy view from the living room window, good couch, kitchen and bedroom. Blanca was so helpful and replyed to our messages quickly. The apartment was close to everything we needed including many bars and restaurants. Thanks for a great stay Blanca!
Blanca's apartment is in an excellent location on a picturesque street, overlooking the river and up toward the Alhambra. It is very easy to get to the Alhambra from there and to restaurants/cafés in Granada. Inside, the space was clean and comfortable. Our first night there was rather warm, and it would have been nice to have AC. Overall, we had a great time, and Blanca was a gracious host.
Blanca was amazing, and was very helpful in accommodating us when our travel situation got messed up a little.
The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and had an amazing view of the river and Alhambra.
Mary's description of the apartment was accurate, her apartment is lovely and in a fabulous location. Looking out the back window straight up to the Alhambra is awesome. We did arrive on a very hot day and would have loved air conditioning. The street was too noisy for us to open up the shutters front and back to let some ventilation in through the night, so our first night was rather uncomfortable as a result. The only other problem was finding a suitable place to park the car - very difficult to get to - if you have a car I suggest you park your car somewhere first and then catch a taxi to the apartment - taxis can drop you off right at the front door.
We had a great Air BnB experience with Blanca's apartment . It's location is perfect, it's roomy and most important lovely and cool. Blanca is lovely too. Highly recommend .
A nice apartment with balcony over looking Alhambra. Well equipped with kitchen ware and washing machine. Our hostess is very nice and warm, always responding my message quickly.
It's hard to say anything negative about Blanca because she is the nicest person in all of Spain. The flat is beautiful and beautifully located, literally at the foot of the Alhambra.
As mentioned, Blanca is a great host. Communication was prompt and quick and she did her best to resolve any issues that came up.
The only issue that could be of concern for future visitors is the heat. Of course, my experience could be considered extraordinary. I visited during an unusually long and hot summer, with a pregnant wife, but it was uncomfortably hot. Blanca (bless her heart) did get a fan especially for us, but unfortunately it was not enough for 100+ degree weather. Something to keep in mind for the summer visits.
