Want to experience the local culture first hand? Look no further than this charming, typical Spanish apartment. Located on Calle Trajano approximately 100 meters from the Alameda de Hércules, this cozy 1 bedroom flat is perfectly situated to enjoy all Sevilla has to offer. It has one bedroom with access to a private patio, one bathroom, and a small fully-equipped kitchen with an adjoining living room area where there is a fold-out couch with another bed. The apartment includes free WIFI--password will be given upon arrival. This apartment is ideal for two people, but accommodates up to four--excellent for families. It's within walking distance to all major monuments--the cathedral, barrio Santa Cruz, Guadalquivir river, Triana--and is located in a great neighborhood. This bohemian neighborhood is an ideal home base to discover Sevilla and enjoy some of the finest tapas in the city.
-The apartment is located up one flight of stairs on the first floor (which is the second floor by American standards). The building does not have an elevator.
-Sevilla is a relatively small city making it ideal to discover on foot. The apartment is located in the center, where there are many narrow and one-way streets, which can be difficult (although not impossible) to navigate by car and find parking.
-Sevilla has an decent bus system and this apartment has a bus stop right across the street. It is also located near a plaza with a number of bus lines. If you prefer to take a taxi, there is a taxi stop (always with a queue of taxis) 20 meters from the apartment.
-If you are traveling to Sevilla by car, please note the center of the city is very difficult to find parking. As mentioned above, there is limited street parking available near the apartment, but please be careful to read the street signs posted. Just across the apartment there is a small parking area available between the following hours: 11am-3pm and from 5pm-7am. Parking there from 7am-11am or between 3pm-5pm may result in a parking ticket. There is a parking structure available in El Corte Ingles, less than 3 minutes away, where you can leave your car overnight for a fee. Additionally, while Sevilla is a relatively safe city, please make sure not to leave any personal belongings in your car to avoid any unwanted attention.
Guests have access to the entire apartment as well as a private patio adjacent to the bedroom.
Interaction with Guests
The apartment is private and as such, guests will be completely independent after the keys are dropped off. I am always available via email or phone should guests have any issues or questions.
The Alameda is a vibrant neighborhood in the center of Seville where one can enjoy some of the best tapas the city has to offer. In the spring and summertime it is the perfect place to enjoy a beer or tinto de verano on a terrace. In the winter there is a market selling fresh food and handmade goods.
The apartment is within walking distance to all major monuments. There is public transit located right across the street as well as in Plaza del Duque, a 3 minute walk from the apartment. There is also a taxi stand just below the apartment.
Bus from the airport: take the EA bus from the airport to the train station, Santa Justa. Transfer to bus 32 or 27 going towards Plaza del Duque. Get off at the last stop, Plaza del Duque, and the apartment is a 3 minute walk from the Plaza.
Parking is not included, however free street parking is available or there are parking garages in the area. The two closest are the parking garage in Plaza de Armas bus station (approx. 22 euros per 24 hours) and in Plaza de la Magdalena (approx. 19 euros per 24 hours).
Please be respectful to the neighbors and treat the apartment as if it were you own.
Well located near the center and the historic sites.
We missed an electric kettle and bowls.
It's a wonderful apartment, clean, cozy. Natalia and her family are so kindness, they leave fresh fruits in the ice-box to welcome us. The location is good, and the restaurants Natalia suggest is very delicious!
We never met Natalia, but we met her parents in law and sister in law, who were very nice people. They even kept a street free parking spot for us. Thank you!
The apartment is spotless and well located. It was all we need it for our trip. Once again thank you!
I'm a native Californian who moved to Spain after meeting my husband at the local fair. I love too many things to list, but traveling and baking are at the top of my list. I'm a low-key traveler who prefers to rent apartments and live like a local (as much as possible) than stay in hotels. With plenty of experience being a guest in rental apartments, I can assure you a quality stay in a wonderful, centrally located apartment.
