Interaction with Guests
We usually work during the day but at night we most of the time see our guests and enjoy giving tips and advices to enjoy the best of the city!
Situated at the feet of the famous Montreal's Jacques Cartier Bridge (which you can access to by bike or feet and enjoy a great view of the city), you will be only 2 blocks (3 min walk) from the Papineau metro (green line direct to downtown, Olympic stadium,...),many city bus lines and the great bixi bike rental system.
You'll be in 3-6 minutes by feet from groceries store, pharmacy, bars, restaurants, cofeshops, etc... enjoying in the summer the pedestrian Ste Catherine street in the village.
In 30 min by feet (6 by metro) you'll be in downtown famous Montreal's festivals as Francofolies, Jazz fest, Opera, Cinema, Theaters, downtown boutiques and shops,...
In 15 min by feet you'll be in the huge Lafontaine's park resting under a tree or jogging/biking, and 15 minutes later on the plateau and his famous Mont-Royal street with bar, restaurants, boutiques,...
In 35 minutes by feet you'll also be walking by old Montreal and it's European style 400 years old buildings.
If you come here by car, you can park on the street for free most of the time in front of the apartment depending of your time of arrival. If not you'll find close by with a little knowledge of Montreal's parking system.. Ask me and I'll help you!
Other Things to Note
Don't hesitate to contact us for any question!
This is a non smoking apartment so if you do smoke it would be greatly appreciated for you to go on the balcony.
Please let us know if you are travelling with a pet prior to make the reservation as we can only accept small animals (we love them all though :D)
We also ask all of our guests to leave their shoes on the stairs, the flooring is oil based and very sensitive to dirt and shoe rubber.
Then this is just a reminder but as per airbnb rules guests must always ask the host before inviting other people in.
Check out is at noon unless no one arrives the same day. Check in starts at 2PM unless there is no one before you. We can always keep your luggage for the day at home no worries.
Tristan and David are perfect hosts and the room you will be staying in is decked out with everything you could possibly need when travelling. The washroom is super nice. They were very hospitable and a lot of fun to talk to. They even let me keep my stuff at the house so I could attend a job interview after my check-out time. Awesome, and I got the job by the way :)
Tristan was wonderful in providing instructions and advice on where to park and where to go to visit in the city. His guest manual in the room is perfect too! Instructions on where to go and visit the city were clearly stated, and even restaurant recommendations were there. The amount of detail and thought put into it was just impeccable and I couldn't help but feel right at home in Tristan's place.
Would definitely recommend his place for anyone wanting to visit Montreal - all sights are within walking distance, and the amenities and metro stations are nearby.
Thanks Tristan for being a wonderful host!
From the very start Tristan who we corresponded with was helpful and insightful. The neighbourhood was great, close to the metro and David's restaurant suggestion proved to be the winner of the trip! The guys are super helpful, easy to talk to, keep a gorgeous apartment that looks even better than the photos. The guys are super relaxed and let us keep put bags there for the day while we spent our last day exploring Montreal. Truly a great stay in a cozy place with great hosts. I do suggest this place for everyone I know.
Staying at Tristan and David's was like being right at home. The entire apartment was cozy, ultra-clean, and the location could not be beat! It is just off the green line- 2 stops away from Berri-UQAM that lets you transfer to any line. You can get to anywhere in the city so easily from here. They best part was the useful guidebook they had put together sitting in our bedroom and tons of maps for us to use during our stay. This was a hundred times better than any hotel/ BnB we could have picked. We can't wait to come back!
Tristan and David were fantastic hosts. I would definitely stay with them again - the location is great and their home is lovely. It's comfortable, well appointed, and they were both very welcoming. I love the lighting and their bathroom is awesome. I wish I could have stayed longer.
it was a nice experience living in Tristan and David's house. it was clean and comfortable, exactly the same as pictures. the location is very great about 1 min walk to Metro. Both Tristan and David are friendly.
Tristan was a wonderful host! I was very impressed by all the pamphlets, brochures, instructions for their tv, labels to let you know where the light switches were in the bathroom. Altho this is my first stay with airbnb, I've spent my time in hotels and I must say this place was indeedly true to picture. No out of wacked things you normally would expect at a hotel or other places I've heard of. When I come back to Mtl, this would be the first place I'd look! Hopefully, another long weekend! Ciao for now TD!

France native living in Montreal for more than 10 years now. I'm a nature lover, I'm very respectful and deeply in love with Airbnb. We've had the chance to meet exceptional people from all over the world along the years we've been hosting guests and I definitely think Airbnb is the best way to travel and discover places.
I speak French of course, English and I still have a bit of Spanish from my time living in Mexico.
I am 29 as my boyfriend David who lives with me. If you're about to share the place with us, we're quiet respectful and fun (I think!). We'll be really happy to welcome you to our home and definitely ready to help you with the city :-)
Looking forward to meet you!
