  • Kate's house is lovely and Kate is a sweetheart. My colleague and I were visiting Ireland on business and this place was wonderful stay. It is a perfect country side experience. It is quiet, cosy and away from the hustle bustle. Kate is a wonderful host and she helped with recommendations to places around. The drive to burrens is pretty especially through the coast....
    Will definitely visit again!

  • Our family of four had a wonderful stay here. Kate is a fantastic host. She had a fire ready for us both nights we stayed, and in the fridge she left us breakfast fixing including Irish sausage, eggs, tea, etc. The location is close to the Burren area of Clare County. Recommend staying here if you are going to be in the area.

Thanks for the good review. It was a pleasure to host you. Slan agus beannacht . Kate

  • I didn't have the chance to stay very long. Hence I didn't meet Kate. But she contacted me before my trip and gave me all indications to go to the chalet. It was very well explained and useful. It was my first trip to Ireland and Kate's chalet has a perfect location. You are just 40 minutes from Shannon airport. It's really easy to go. The place is lovely and quiet. Everything was set up for our arrival. It's perfect for a romantic week-end. I wish I could stay longer and will definitely come back!

  • Kate and Joe were absolutely lovely people. Kate gave us very good directions of how to get to her place, but through a fault of our (my) own, we went on a little detour on the way to this beautiful cottage. The cottage is located in the middle of a field on a small road, so there is absolutely no one but two cows around and pure silence. The kitchen/sitting area is lovely with a beautiful wood furniture, the bedroom is very cosy and spacious with lovely views. We used the sauna twice or three times - it was a wonderful way to get warm in the cold rainy weather:) Kate was very helpful in lighting up the fire for us both nights. All the amenities are there in the kitchen for those who want to cook. The area around has lots of things to see: the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, and Gort is a town nearby that has nice restaurants where to eat out. We enjoyed the Gallery for their lunch/cakes menu.

We will definitely stay here again! Thanks to Kate and Joe for a lovely weekend.

  • We had a lovely stay in Kate's place. The weather was atrocious but Kate made sure we had a fire to keep warm and was always close by if we had any problems. The house is in a really nice part of the country right next to Coole Park.

  • We couldn't have felt more welcome at Kate's chalet. We stayed there for two nights of our honeymoon, and she even left delicious chocolates out for us, as well as building a fire and giving us hot toddys to boot!

It's a great spot to get to almost anywhere on the west coast - mountains, ocean, etc. We were so glad we took Kate's advice to go explore Connemara. It ended up being one of the best highlights of our entire trip.

  • Should ever you wish a comfortable stay in the beautiful Irish countryside, I cannot more highly recommend Crann Mór. The hostess is wonderful, the home beautifully decorated with plenty of space for resting and relaxing. An hour's drive away you'll find castles and a bit further on some of the natural wonders of the world. Dress appropriately for the season!

  • We had a great stay with Kate. She made it easy for us to get to her place in our own time and was very helpful and friendly. The house is situated in a beautiful part of the countryside - great for runs. It is fully equipped, clean and welcoming. Kate cooked a lovely meal and took us with her partner to the local pub - will definitely recommend this place to friends.
