Special tranquil place - close enough to everything you may wish to explore in the Burren and Connemara. We stayed 3 days though 5 or 6 would allowed us to explore much more that the area has to Offer. Kate was a super host who shared her knowledge of the area and the country with such passion. Thanks

Kate is the epitome of an Airbnb host. If would like a traditional Irish "B&B" who provides locally sourced food, eco-friendly living, and great communication, she is your girl. There is a great sense of "living off the land" which was not expected. Kate is lively, talkative, and sociable.

Our stay at Kate's place was amazing. The chalet was beautiful, very spacious and well stalked. It's a short 30min drive outside of Galway. So you get the country feel but still close to the city. Kate was a great host, she greeted us with warm whiskey/ sugar water which I highly recommend. Extremely knowledgeable of the area and what it has to offer. She was kind enough to show us around Galway and the farmers market there. I high recommend hiking Diamond Hill in Connemara. I would definitely come and stay again if only to chat with Kate again.
