Our stay at Kate's place was amazing. The chalet was beautiful, very spacious and well stalked. It's a short 30min drive outside of Galway. So you get the country feel but still close to the city. Kate was a great host, she greeted us with warm whiskey/ sugar water which I highly recommend. Extremely knowledgeable of the area and what it has to offer. She was kind enough to show us around Galway and the farmers market there. I high recommend hiking Diamond Hill in Connemara. I would definitely come and stay again if only to chat with Kate again.

The place is wonderful but very difficult to find with local construction. Be sure you get the GPS coordinates and then enter from the south. The hostess Kate is wonderful. Friendly and eco minded

Response from Kate:
Yes there is a motorway under construction at present. All of the directions by road per the reservation details continue to apply . However on the date of your arrival the entry road from Labane had been temporarily closed while an overpass bridge will be ready in a few days hopefully in time for the next guests. Unfortunately it is hard to find but when you do its worth it all.....
