Kate is a very nice and welcoming; precise and detailed explanations of everything that the house offers and areas to visit. We recommend a navigator to reach her thanks to the GPS coordinates. House clean and accessorized. Excellent location having a car available. Galway, the Burren and Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, attainable just a little time enjoying all the scenery that Ireland has to offer. Very pleasant the awakening with the chirping of birds and the dew that bathes the vast pastures surrounding the house. Do not miss the sunset seen from the master bedroom.
We stayed for a stop on our journey to Kate, moving first from Dublin.
For those who love nature and tranquility, great accommodation and pleasant to live !!
Thank you so much for the review. I was delighted to host you . I will be pleased if ye return to these parts and next time I promise I will have more time to share the place and surroundings with (website hidden) . I do actually reside on site but have Jacqueline a friend staying at the moment while I overnight with family locally due to family illness . You may have understood it to be otherwise. Hopefully Zoe will come with friends. Oh Lionel please send the nice pictures. Say hello to all in Brittany , a place I love to visit. Kate
Crann Mor is a very tranquil, beautiful home to relax and a easy journey to areas such as Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and Connemara. What makes this an even better place is the host, Kate. If AirBnB had host of the year she should receive it. We were caught in rain and darkness after dinner and our GPS was not working right. Kate on her own accord went looking for us since we left a msg stating where we would have dinner. She found us and guided us safely to her home. This woman is amazing and we thank you and look foward to visiting again.
The reservation was canceled 5 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
A home-from-home this spacious chalet is certainly the place to escape the rat race. Kate our host made us feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble - she even lit a fire for us when we arrived back late one evening. Cosy & comfortable beds, well equipped and a grand dining table together with ample, safe outdoor space made for a great getaway for our lively kids. #1
Thank you so much for your review. The big problem with the weather in the west of Ireland is not the temperature or how cold it can be it's more a problem with the wind and rain together. My location at the top of a hill looking out west on Galway bay causes a great exposure to the elements. Spring is here and we can look forward to dusting off the cobwebs getting some fresh air in the lungs and embracing the extra daylight hours. Best wishes and thanks again. Kate
Our host was magnificent! When we return to Ireland we hope to return to Kate's magical home. When we arrived after a long day of driving, we were greeted with lovely local snacks and even a warm whiskey with lemon and clove! We felt at home. We spent a lovely Christmas there cooking in the well-supplied kitchen and wandering the grounds. We thoroughly enjoyed our chats with our host and the lively conversation with Joe. Thanks for the books! We have all been reading aloud to each other. Who would have thought a valuable history lesson would come with the lodging. Thank you both for your generosity. Your home is lovely, spacious, and the perfect spot for Christmas. Thank you.
From the moment we booked our stay at Kate's she was warm, welcoming and helpful. On the night we arrived she popped in with fresh wood for the fire, fresh bread and homemade jam. Oh and a huge basket of Lego for our boys which was a dream come true. There were chocolates waiting on the table and a cot for our youngest son.
The house is absolutely divine and we couldn't have been more happy or more comfortable. It's in a great location and surrounded by serenity. We had great days out exploring and amazing nights by the fire, playing games, reading and talking. Kate joined us most nights to chat and share stories and tips about what we should do the next day.
Spectacular stay! Superb house! Super host!
