  • We stayed there for a night and we really enjoyed the place. The bedroom was charming, calm and very clean. In addition, you can walk to the city center (10 min).

  • Kathleen was a wonderful host, she was incredibly warm and welcoming and happy to assist during our brief visit. The B&B is just a short walk from the centre of Galway and also well-placed to wander to the picturesque Salthill area, which has some fantastic beaches. Our room was immaculate and I had a fantastic night's sleep and wonderful breakfast in the morning! I'd happily recommend Kathleen's B&B to anyone.

  • Kathleen was an amazing host. She was warm and welcoming (and even dried our laundry)! The room was lovely and very comfortable. I think I had the best sleep of our entire trip at Kathleen's B&B. Breakfast in the morning was delicious - fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, juice, tea, coffee and a hot breakfast - what more could you ask for? The location is prime - only about a 10 minute walk to Galway's city centre. We'll definitely be staying with Kathleen the next time we visit Ireland!

  • Kathleen was an amazing host. She was warm and welcoming. As we had wandeted into a nearby road and called in to the wrong housr, Kathleen swooped in to rescue us. Each day she gave us maps and routes to gollow to explore The Burren, to visit the Cliffs of Mohr, to dtive to Clifden via routes with the least traffic and most beauty. Kathllen, like a fairy, would sneak into pur room to collect our hanging to dry hand laundry. She would dry it and return it folded! The b and b was on a quiet cul de sac. It took us less tha 10 minutes to walk into town The house was beautiful and our bedroom was large, aory and comfortable. It had the best bed on our trip.

  • Kathleen was an ideal host. The location was great; it was an easy walk to downtown. She provided great recommendations about day trips that we would have never found otherwise, and gave us maps to show us how to get there. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

  • This is a "normal" B&B with about 5 different rooms and a common breakfast area.

Kathleen was very nice and helpful.

The breakfast was just fine and everything was clean.

  • My friend Leah, her three-and-a-half year old son, and I had a great visit to Galway. Kathleen's BnB was convenient and clean. The beds were comfortable. We shared a room with a double bed, a single bed, and an ensuite bathroom. Kathleen kindly picked us up from the bus station and dropped us off at the baggage storage facility at the end of our two day visit. She was very accommodating with the little one, offering to make him an egg each day. The breakfast otherwise was simple but good. Because we brought a lot of our own food, it would have been great to have had full access to the kitchen and the refrigerator--as it was, we could only use these spaces when Kathleen was there. It's a very different atmosphere than Air BnBs that I've stayed at, where guests have the full run of the apartment--this was a more traditional bed and breakfast setup. Kathleen offered helpful advice about catching the ferry to the Aran Islands and visiting sites in town; she was a conscientious and thorough host. The location was great--10 minutes to town (on foot) and 15 minutes to the pier and beach. I'd recommend Kathleen's bed and breakfast to travelers.

  • There's not much else I can add beyond what others have already stated. Kathleen is a wonderful host! Her home is very conveniently located to both the Galway city center as well as Salthill and a picturesque view of the bay. On more than one occasion, she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was the best it could be (and I was only there two nights)! I could not recommend Kathleen and her home more highly.

  • I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay during my time in Galway. Kathleen is an incredibly friendly, welcoming host, and her B&B is fantastic. It's an easy 10 minute walk from happenin' downtown Galway, and is in a very cute, quiet cul-de-sac.

The room itself is very comfortable: great bed, warm carpet, and clean, spacious bathroom. It really felt like home after busy days of exploring the area.

In addition to providing impeccable accommodation and delicious Irish breakfast, Kathleen was also very helpful in sharing her knowledge of the area. The morning we left, she spent several minutes sitting with us and our map, and gave us directions on how to best explore Connemara, which ended up being one of the best parts of our entire trip.

Couldn't recommend Kathleen and her B&B any more highly. If you have a chance to stop through Galway and stay with her, you absolutely should!
