Just before entering the Great Smoky Mt. National Park, look for the Gazebo on your left. This is the Lodge. There is a large, "Deep Creek Lodge", sign next to the Gazebo. There is a Snack-Bar on the right.

During your stay

Deep Creek Lodge first opened it's doors in 1951. With the popularity of the GSMNP that had just established itself in 1941, there was a great demand for lodging to accommodate all who wanted to explore and experience the park and all that it had to offer. Hiking, fishing, camping and tubing became popular in Bryson and in the Deep Creek area. Since then, it has only multiplied in popularity and we are all still looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We, Rod and Naomi Lowman, felt that same calling through the years and spent annual vacations to the Mountains. Eventually, 2004, the mountains called us to permanent residency and as we looked for something to keep us busy, we inquired into the purchase of the Lodge and low and behold became the owners of Deep Creek Lodge and Creekside Tubing. As you all know, we've accomplished the" keep our selves busy"!!! We have since watched our regular guests come and go each year and seen their children become parents. It has been a wonderful journey of meeting our Deep Creek family, and we look forward to all of you that we will meet in the future! God's peace to each of you.
