The house sits back from the road on almost 2 acres. You'll feel like you're in the middle of the country while still being able to walk to town.

During the 1940s, the great-nephew of John D. Rockefeller—and his wife the grand-niece of Andrew Carnegie—occupied the house along with Nancy’s father, Andrew Carnegie II!

We truly believe this property is the best available rental in Pinehurst. Not only does it have space for a large group of travelers, but the design is personal and clean, with a luxurious but comfortable feel. There is a surprise around every corner in this house -- we had so much fun with the design.

Neighborhood highlights

We are located less than one mile (via the Pinehurst greenway) from the center of the Village of Pinehurst. Should you choose to walk, you'll be going down tree-lined streets and past beautiful historic homes, the Pinehurst resort, and some green spaces as you head into the Village. There you'll find boutique shopping, restaurants, and cafes.
A mile down the road in the opposite direction is one of Pinehurst's premier dining destinations -- Elliots on Linden. They offer incredible food from a seasonal menu, craft cocktails you'll never regret, and a beautiful setting with indoor and outdoor seating!
We're also just a 2-minute drive from several large grocery stores, gas stations, etc. -- as well as a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Southern Pines and downtown Aberdeen, both great spots to spend a Saturday morning eating and shopping!
