The location was good. Very close to subways, restaurants, etc. Lodging was clean and comfortable. Because of stairs between sleeping/tv area and kitchen and bathroom, would not recommend for someone with ambulatory issues.
I stayed at Joe's place for 9 nights while I was working in DUMBO and it was great -- super easy access to the F-train, easy walk to grocery stores & restaurants, and a really nice space.
Cozy, clean and so pretty - Joe's place has a lot of character and charm! It's conveniently located to the F and G lines - literally 2 minutes walk. F takes you to Manhattan in 30 minutes and the G is the only line that goes across Brooklyn (happy days for those wanting to spend time in Williamsburg) I loved Joe's place, the neighborhood and Brooklyn in general. Don't be afraid to explore - there's a lot going on and from my personal experience it's very safe. Joe was so nice, friendly and quick to reply; he had a folder with all the information a visitor would need waiting for me on the kitchen table. As soon as I walked in, I knew I've made the right choice. Enjoy this gem and your stay in NYC! Thank you Joe!
Joe's apartment worked very well for us during our 5 night stay in Brooklyn. We found the location convenient and the neighborhood quiet and family-oriented. Joe was always quick to respond to our questions and was able to accommodate us at the last minute when our previous reservations fell through. We enjoyed breakfasts at The Bagel Pub & The Park Slope Diner - aka the Green Diner, and even went to Mass at the church on the corner. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable and even though we didn't think we'd use it, the TV came in handy too.
Joe was an awesome host. His place was nice and clean when I showed up and Joe was quick to answered all of my questions. I was very happy with my entire experience. Thanks Joe!
Joe and his charming apartment were great. The neighborhood is fantastic and right in the heart of the best of what Brooklyn has on offer. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting the area.
Joe was a great host. The place was exactly what we needed! Clean, homey, and plenty of space! Very close to Prospect Park and some great shops, bars, restaurants, etc. Over the trip my door key broke. Joe was very apologetic and literally came running to the front door with a new key. We all shared a laugh when I leveled with him that it actually broke while trying to open a beer in the park with said key. If you want to be in a good Brooklyn neighborhood, and have a nice place to sleep, and a very cool host, stay at Joe's!!
This was out first airbnb and we really enjoyed it.
The apartment is very nice. It's very close to subway which we used quite a bit in our few days.
Joe is great to deal with and very quick with responses for any issues or questions. We will recommend this place to our friends.
We thought Joe's place was great -- clean, convenient and reasonable and Joe was very responsive/gave quick answers. The neighborhood is very friendly with great coffee shops and cafes nearby. We spent a lot of time at a close by park/playground.
Loved the location! Contacted Joe literally the day before our arrival - he was the first to respond and was very easy to communicate with. Great place if you don't want to stay in Manhattan but still want quick and easy access (the F subway is about 2 blocks away). Took advantage of the great restaurants, coffee shops, and even a gay bar down the street! Joe's place was cute, clean and tidy - loved that there were two beds available and in separate areas.
