Had a great stay at david's apartment. Perfect size for the five of us.
It is located near great restaurants bars and a great nightlife. Also not too far of a walk from the main attractions.
We have stayed at Davide's place for 3 nights: 4 adults and 4 kids and there was enough space for us. The flat is nicely decorated and clean. The strongest point is location - just perfect: Trastevere is lovely area with lots of cafes and restaurants around (no need to use the kitchen). Walking distance to most of Rome's attractions (eg. 30 minutes walk to Vatican). Very good communication with Davide.
The only minus: small bathroom (together with WC), which was pretty inconvenient for 8 people.
Davide was very helpful at arranging my arrival. Very helpful, especially as it was such short notice (same day). The apartment is in a great neighborhood, very local, not touristy. There's a great coffee shop at the end of the street, and some pretty nice restaurants are all within walking distance. The neighborhood is perfect for someone who is interested in tourism but want to have an authentic roman experience. The apartment itself is not very clean. The bathtub was dirty and the apartment could use some renovations, new paint, some TLC. It is clearly not well maintained, but we did enjoy our stay.
Hi Nickolas! I am sorry you felt it was not well maintained and clean.
About maintenance the apartment had a a restyling (painting/color also), just 2 month ago.
About the bath I agree it's too old, but please note that this is its problem (some acid too much stronger damaged it on the past), but it was clean.
We really enjoyed our stay at Davide's apartment. The neighborhood was lovely and easy to get to from the airport. Francesco greeted us upon arrival with a bottle of wine and was readily available by phone whenever we needed something. The apartment was spacious, bright and clean. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definitely recommend it.

About the Host, Davide & Francesco
Hey It's Davide, an italian entrepreneur, ex actor, into architecture, design, art, vintage and...animal most of all. My 2 dogs are the children I don't have. I have never liked "total Ikea" and "grandmother's apartment" that so often I see on holiday apartments market. I would like like to offer something different to my guests; some of my apartments are basic and easy, some other are much luxurious, but all of them have an own personality, that probably cannot be found in a common hotel.
Francesco is my cousin and I saw him born and grow up! He likes art, design and vintage forniture too. He is into sport also at professional level also. He is much clever then me in practical manual job, so he helps me keeping the apartments in order and welcoming the guests when I can't do that.
I expect to host respectful guests, easy going, smart enough to understand that communication and flexibility are important renting a private apartment: as traveller I know that each unit necessary has defects also other then strengths, and that the total perfection can be found at Hilton (maybe) ;)
So, I hope to host you and being in touch before, during and after your stay. If you will stay somewhere else, enjoy Rome and don't forget to visit some other wonderful place in Italy!
