We stayed for three nights. Anna & her family are wonderful and friendly people. They are excellent hosts and very helpful. Breakfast on the top story was delicious (Italian style). The apartment (two rooms with two bathrooms) was excellent, clean and with air-conditioning. For our next stay in Naples area we will choose Anna’s apartment if will be available. The perfect Margeritha pizza is just on the corner! You must be there!
We stayed with Anna for two nights. Driving to Pompeii one day and then to the amalfi coast the next. The room was lovely. The Breakfast was delicious. And the local pizza shop (that Anna recommended) around the corner was even more so!
Anna con la sua bella casa vi propone un esperienza magnifica, come la sua città. Lei vi accoglie con atteggiamento semplice ed efficace attenzione, davvero incantevole.
La casa è a dir poco perfetta:
- ampia, luminosa e confortevole, bella;
- posizione magnifica, comoda, "per veri intenditori";
- vista ampia, aperta, incantevole;
- fornita di ogni accessorio, ben oltre il puro bisogno;
- ben collegata con ogni dove;
In sintesi, ottimo rapporto prezzo prestazioni.
Cara Anna grazie mille di ogni attenzione e collaborazione, sei stata preziosa, sicuramente ci rivediamo
We had trouble finding the place so Americo, the owner, met us and showed us the way. Once there Valentina, their daughter, welcomed us and showed us the lovely rooms and the terrace with panoramic views of Naples and Vesuvio's. We just did not realize that we had 4 flights of stairs to go to the terrace...well worth the effort...view was just great!
Breakfast was also great and so were Anna and her family...we took advantage of the kitchen the last night there to make a delicious Hungarian dinner...We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to visit Naples and all it has to offer...we toured the Amalfi coastline, Sorrento, Capri and Pompei. Maria, John, Tom, Lisa, Attila and Eva.
If there was a way to give it more stars, it would be a 10!
We are a family of four and have traveled around Italy with 2 children for 5 weeks. If we return to the Naples area, there is no doubt where we would stay.
If you wish to experience true Italian hospitality at a beautiful location, this is it. Everything was fantastic. The rooms were clean and the linens were crispy white. Anna kindly provided bottled water in the room and a hearty breakfast with freshly made coffee and fruit in the morning.
You would stay on the first floor of a four story apartment with the topmost terrace at your disposal, which has a full kitchen, laundry washer and a beautiful view of Vesuvius on one side and Amalfi coast mountains on the other.
The train station is 2 minutes by foot and the train is very convenient to take to either Pompeii or Naples. It takes an hour to get to the central station in Napoli, but you will avoid the hassle of driving there, finding parking and worrying about leaving your car. The trains start running around 6:45 am, which is a good time to be up and going, with the last train arriving to Striano at 8:30 pm.
Very close to Naples area are many beautiful sights undiscovered by tourists. We took day trips to Pompeii, Terme di Baia and Castello di Baia, Solfatara in Pozzuoli, Greek temples in Paestum, a beautiful ride along the Costiera Amalfitana and a climb to the top of Vesuvius (a must do!).
If you need an advice on what to see or where to go, all you have to do is ask. You will arrive as a stranger, but you will leave as a dear friend. Enjoy your stay, as we most certainly have.
Thank you for everything!
