  • Stayed for 12 days. Marla was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. Good value for the amount of space.

Very spacious and comfortable 1 BR apartment.
    Easy off-street parking.
    Small park within 2 blocks.
    Charming shabby-chic and vintage decor.
Nice big bathroom, big bedroom with sitting area and office.

Location not ideal for downtown or T but close enough by car.
Dark interior, a bit cluttered, and slightly dusty in some areas.
Neighborhood - very noisy at night. This is Roxbury.

  • We truly enjoyed our stay in Boston! The house was perfect for our needs.

  • The property was lovely inside, very much like the photos. The property is very spacious, there were 3 of us staying there and it was ideal to have the upper floor and the terrace. The area was ok, we took taxis back at night and they didnt cost much, and took the Silverline bus into town each morning which was easy to get to and close to the property. It took us aprox 10 mins by bus or taxi right into the heart of the city center. Marla was a great host, very helpful and always around. We enjoyed our stay in Boston very much! Much nicer than staying in a hotel!

  • Brilliant experience. Marla's place is a fantastic retro two storey place. Loved the decor, all the little collectibles, and the large record collection. Nice twenty minute stroll in to the city. Lovely and clean, plenty of room and host was always available if need be. Highly recommended

  • Marla has a wonderful unique talent of putting together a huge collection of antiques in her nice and clean place. I spent most of first day just admiring many of them. It was like coming home at the end of the day. Great place with friendly neighbors. Thank you Marla.
    God bless.

  • We stayed at Marla's place for 5 days and we have a really good time. The place was perfect for us: very clean, chariming, spacious and close to everything. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook so we didn't had to eat in restaurant all the time. It was really easy to go downtown by bus or by train beacause the bus is just one block form the house. We really enjoyed our trip ans had alot of fun at Marla's place. Next time we go in Boston we will sure stay at Marla's place!

  • Marla's place was amazing. The apartment was immaculately kept, enviably decorated and accommodated the four of us very comfortably. Marla was also very friendly, helpful and easily contactable. I look forward to staying here again the next time we are in Boston.

  • Nicely managed property in good proximity to central Boston. Roxbury is clearly a bit dodgy (25% of the 100 shootings to have occurred in Boston between April and end of July happened here), but we stayed in most evenings and had no issues (although I did hear shots fired while making dinner one evening...crazy gun laws). Parking on the street is convenient. Ample linens and towels provided, and the place was generally clean, just in need of some dusting. Marla was really helpful and very responsive to all our questions and requests. We'd definitely stay here again - good for the kids to see another side of the city.

  • Loved our stay. Apartment was beautiful and exactly as advertised. There was plenty of space for the four of us to stay comfortably. Whole apartment was well stocked with everything we needed, in particular the kitchen had all the utensils we required. Marla was a gracious host who even assisted in bringing our luggage inside, which was extremely helpful and refreshing. Overall very happy with our stay.
