Neighborhood highlights

Bazas is situated on the Santiago de Compostelle path and is a good place to stop and enjoy before crossing the huge forest of the Landes.
The village house is in a rustic/chic style and located in the middle of a diverse landscape. The city of Bazas is an antique city with a lot of history. We are only a few steps from the main square where the gothic cathedral is situated and where a know market takes place each Saturday. 20 km from Bazas are a lot of wine acres, the famous Bordeaux wines.
We are ca. 75 km from the Atlantic Ocean, where there are a lot of nice sea towns, like Arcachon. If you want to visit the big and beautiful city of Bordeaux, it only takes about 50 minutes to drive there. The huge land forests of Les Landes is just nearby.

After a life spent in Iceland I am back to France with my Icelandic wife to my family home. After travelling around the world and spending time in charming accommodations, this has been a dream of us to open our own charming accommodation in our nice little town of Bazas.
