An aloha 400 sq ft condo in the heart of downtown Kona. Updated with beautiful mahogany cabinets and hard floors make this little gem a clean and contemporary slice of aloha. Small quaint complex on Alii Drive has pool, hot tub, cable, plus wifi in unit. A full sized refrigerator and a kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, and basic utensils. Location is a "10" Just steps to ocean, eats, pubs, stores, markets. Price includes 13.4% GET/TAT Taxes. FREE limited parking.

House Rules

+No subletting - Guest on reservation must be guest staying in my home
+No pets at all allowed on property
+No parties, large groups, noises after 10 PM
+Smoke Free community: No Smoking anything in the unit including pakalolo
+Keep unit free and clear of trash to keep buggies away
+Respect your neighbors
+One time cleaning at check-out for basic cleaning- excludes dishes and excess debris- we charge $25/hour for any cleaning that is above basic cleaning
+One time clean sheets and towels supplied at start of stay.
++Respect the condo and its contents- please treat it kindly so we all may continue to enjoy it. We rarely have had any issues with AirBnB guests but there is always a first...property manager takes an inventory every cleaning and any missing or destroyed towels, sheets, utensils, glasses, plates, or other items in the condo will be charged to the guest out of the security deposit. We charge $25 an hour to replace broken/missing/or damaged items plus the actual cost to replace item. We ask that- you break it, you replace it- Walmart has most everything 1 mile up the hill.

At checkin you will be asked to sign this form regarding rules:
$300 Kona Islander Inn is a 100% SMOKE FREE property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property including; inside of unit, balcony, parking lot, pool area, laundry room and walkways. This rule is strictly enforced.

$200 Any activity that requires police intervention.

$100 Any activity upon the premises which unreasonably disrupts or impairs the privacy and quiet enjoyment of any resident. All noise from whatever source shall be discriminatorily controlled to avoid annoying or disturbing other residents.

$100 Violations of any rules or regulations that constitute a threat to personal safety or that involves damage to common areas or the property of others.

$100 Violations of House Rules on vehicle parking regulations. All vehicles are required to have a valid parking permit visible at all times. Any vehicle not displaying a parking permit will be towed at the owner’s expense. There are no visitor or guest parking. Lost parking permits will result in a $25 replacement fee. Covered parking is available next to Bubba Gump’s for $5 per day.

$50 First violation of House Rules regarding pets, $100 second violation, $300 third violation. $25 Violation of the balcony rules. (Reminder: do not hang towels, clothing, etc.)

$25 Violation of any pool rules. Anyone who engages in misconduct will receive and “Aloha Warning” for the first offense. Subsequent offenses will result in the fine and loss of pool privileges. *No infants or children under the age of 14 are allowed in the hot tub. Infants must wear swim diapers in the pool. Pool area use is for registered guests only. No group parties are permitted.

I have read and acknowledge the above rules. I understand that a complete set of the House rules and fine schedule are available upon request. I agree to be financially responsible for myself and anyone in my party for any violation of the Kona Islander Inn rules and regulations during my stay.

Nev's place was great for our short stay in Kona. The complex is located near some great coffee shops and you can easily walk to the brewery and beaches. Apartment was clean and complex was well maintained.

Great location, just a minute or two to the iconic Kona Inn where we watched awesome sunsets over a drink or two. The communication with Nev was very good and checkin a dream. The apartment had everything we needed, including fans for the hot August nights.
