Sean's place was perfect for a stay in Austin. The loft is cozy and well-equipped with everything you might possibly need. Very conveniently located for a quick shot to downtown and great restaurants nearby. I would definitely highly recommend his place. Making arrangements with him was a breeze and his flexibility on the check-in time was especially appreciated.
This condo was clean and comfortable for my friend and I during our stay in Austin. We did notice that the couch was different than the one pictured, and the back cushions are detached and fall off when you lean back on them. Other than that, you couldn't ask for a better location; there are plenty of restaurants in the area and a gorgeous park/trail right down the hill. The neighborhood is quiet and a short car ride to anywhere else in the city.
Our host left us the key code to the apartment. We never met Sean, but feel very kindly toward him for providing such lovely accommodations. The apartment is all newly furnished. It's so light and airy that you'll need to cover your eyes at night if you need dark to sleep in. The bed is very comfortable. Having two bathrooms is a plus. The porch/deck gets morning sun. The kitchen works well.
We took to calling our apartment 'the catbird seat'. it's up the hill from Zilker Park, which we visited every day. It's up the hill from some iconic Austin restaurants as well, and the convenience store next door even carries the New York Times.
Very nice, open space. Perfect for a couple. With a third guest there's not a lot of privacy, but plenty of living space.
Great location within walking distance of Barton Springs and Zilker Park. Beautiful area. Close to downtown, as well.
Sean made sure we had everything we needed and offered plenty of suggestions for things to do and places to go. He made the entire stay easy for us. Highly recommended.
