Awesome location, great host. We had a great time visiting the city for the first time, and staying at Melanie's place made our trip!
Our stay was very nice. We were extremely close to bourbon street and within walking distance of the smoothie king arena as well. During our stay we met the neighbor who was a very cool lady. We had 6 people staying in the place. A married couple in each bed and two air mattresses were provided for the other two people. Although we didn't spend much time in the room, we were all very happy with this place. Thank you!
The friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guest, visitors or strangers.
Thank you for your friendliness, warm reception, helpfulness and courtesy .
Your place was perfect, !!!!!!!!!!
Kind Regards, Fundador
Melanie is awesome. Everything was clean, location couldn't be better, and Melanie is a sweetheart. She accommodated our party even though we were a bit larger than she normally hosts and gave us tips on where to go and what to see. When we moved locations, she even arranged for someone to drive us to the new place! Only complaint was a neighbor who got angry that we were making too much noise and threatened to call police (though never did) even though it was Thursday or Mardi Gras. While it did put us a bit on edge, the weekend went without incident. If you are a party that is coming during the week (or weekend) and are planning to be rowdy this is likely not the place for you. Short of that I'd recommend to all!
Perfect location! We had a great time. Melanie was a great hostess. We are ready to go back!!! The apartment is adorable. There was a grocery store a few blocks away so stocking up on essentials was easy enough. and if all you need is liquor - there is a small corner store that will accommodate - it also sells a little bit of food stuffs. IN the other direction, is the French Market, it was amazing. Lots a food, drinks, shops, and people watching. I highly recommend staying here.
One of the best decisions we made on our New Orleans trip was to rent this condo. The location is incredible, super close to Frenchmen Street. Far enough away to feel private. The condo was perfect for 4 of us, very clean, comfortable, and a nice big kitchen. The owner was super nice, she made us feel right at home. I would rent this place again tomorrow if I had the chance.
Melanie is an awesome host! She let us come an hour earlier and then, because she had no other bookings that day, let us leave our stuff and use the apartment way past check out time. She was completely chill and the apartment is in a great location (few blocks from everything French Quarter but without all the noise when you want to sleep!). The balcony and windows in the other bedroom let in a tremendous amount of light and the beds were super comfy. The space is extremely large as well (we had four but could fit 6 easily and comfortably!) - Will def stay here again!
Great stayin at Melanies appartrment. Comming back !!
Perfect location, central to all the best parts of the Quarter & Marginy. Melanie and Oliver are responsive hosts who accurately depict their apartment, which is spacious for the Quarter. Relatively quite street for the location, the downstairs neighbor and his guests are anything but quiet.
Melanie's apartment is ideally located for those wanting to explore both the French quarter and the Marigny, the latter being one of the coolest local neighborhoods in Nola. Her home was clean with an eclectic vibe. The bed was comfortable and it was cool having a bedroom balcony. Having lived in NYC, it wasn't a bother to me but she does have some noisy neighbors--however, her street was a quiet one for the quarter. At any rate, we were too busy exploring Nola for it to matter. Melanie was also easy to work with. When we arrived, a friend was waiting for us with the keys to let us in. Recommended for those wanting to feel like locals. We had a most enjoyable stay and hope to return to her home.
